Acute pain due to swollen lower lip

Dear Sir,
I am suffering from swollen lower lips since Friday June 4th and there is an acute pain in the inner lower side of mouth especially on the left side and the pain is unbearable. I had it diagnosed by a doctor who said it was a result of an infection caused by a cut in lower lip a week ago which has affected the lower lip causing it to swell. I am also suffering from mild fever which is temporary. Also I have a history of chronic digestive problems.

Kindly advise

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Please take Merc Sol 200 twice a day for 3 days and see how that affects. It this doesn't help take Sulphur 200 in the same way.

One dose means
If the medicine is in pills form 2 pills. Don't touch pills with hand. Use cap of bottle to take pills.
If the medicine is in liquid dilution form, 2 drops in some 20 ml water. Sip up slowly.

Please follow homeo restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 30 minutes before or after taking medicine.

Dear Sir
Thank you for the suggestions.
However the doctor today told that it is a lip abcess in lower lip and needs anti biotics and surgery.

Please advise whether I should see if it can be cured through medicines or go for. surgery.
