This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
I regret that I am not in a position to answer your questions as no one has given me any feedback after having used Nat Phos 6x when faced with both conditions.
Nat Phos is not a drug and can be used very safely for both babies and adults to treat GERD and it was quite accidentally that I discovered that it also helped to reduce weight by 1kg per week when taken as prescribed.
It will eliminate Baby GERD in a few hours and adults who have been prescribed the dangerous PPI Drugs like Nexium, Prevacid, Zantac have reported how very effective Nat Phos 6x is to relieve the GERD that they suffered for many years.
I would suggest that you do not experiment with your body by taking any drug whatever, even though NP is not a drug, while trying to conceive and also when pregnant. You may however take it after baby is born when you may want to reduce the extra weight which is normal after a baby.
