The ABC Homeopathy Forum

new case for kadwa or rishimba

If you would be so kind as to help to pinpoint a remedy for my symptoms, it would be much appreciated. I've had different homeopaths prescribe different constitutional remedies and I am confused. Thank you.

Sex: Female
Age: 45

1. Describe your main suffering? Digestive issues including gastritis, extremely low energy (maybe thyroid?), PMS – bloating, breast tenderness, extreme sensitivity, ringing in ears, and the biggest one is INSOMNIA…I have trouble sleeping and most supplements will cause me to stay awake all night.

2. What other physical sufferings do you have in your body? Pressure in ears, can’t focus, lack of motivation to get anything done (really severe right now). Very sleepy all day, but as soon as I go to bed I am wide awake. Pain at occipital area that moves through ears and teeth and into the face. Eyes feel puffy. Sometimes tightness at thyroid area. Nerve pains in right hip. No libido. Tingling in feet and sometimes in arms too. Pin prick sensations in my right calf. My abdomen is always a bit distended, no matter what I eat. I am not too gassy, but fruit makes me gassy. I look a few months pregnant.

3. What mental sufferings / feelings do you have associated with your physical sufferings? Depression (a hopeless kind of depression), fears of illness, fear my cat is going to die, not wanting to “be here” on the planet. Isolation – I don’t want to be around any people. In fact, I get very agitated and irritable around people.

4. What exactly do you feel when you are at your worst? Irritable and weepy at the same time.

5. When did it all start? Can you connect it to any past event or disease? I had many vaccines 10 years ago and a dental surgery where the antibiotics messed up my gut. Over the years I have chelated heavy metals, got the viral load under control, addressed chronic fatigue. I’ve never been able to heal my gut, and I just recently started having gastritis.

6. Which time of the day you are worst? It just gets worse as the day goes on. I might feel a bit better in the evening. They it gets worse in the middle of the night sometimes.

7. What are the things which aggravate your suffering and which are those which ameliorate the same? I don’t know.

8. Do you think your sufferings have relation to any external stimuli (like, change of place) or any internal biological changes in the body, like, menses (in females)? I don’ t know.

9. When do you feel better, during hot weather or cold weather, humid or dry weather? I feel better in moderate climates, not too hot, not too cold, but I would choose hot over cold and dry over humid.

10. Describe your general mental set up? Are you Moody, Arrogant, Mild, Agreeable Changeable, Nervous, Suspicious, Easily offended, Quiet, Arguing, Irritating, Lazy etc. I am quiet, a perfectionist in my own home. Most people irritate me. I often say “people are stupid” – more out of annoyance/irritation than arrogance.

- How do you feel before or during a thunderstorm? I haven’t noticed.

- Do you like being consoled during your tough times? No, I want a solution to my problem. I often get mad with sympathy. I often need to clean and organize the house to feel better again.

- Are you sensitive to external stimuli like smell, noise, light etc? Yes! I am highly sensitive to lights, smells, and noise, especially light and noise in the later part of the evening.

- Do you have any typical habit or gesture like nail biting, causeless weeping, talking to one self etc? I am addicted to chocolate, I love soup for breakfast, my house must be kept orderly and clean, I twirl my hair in my fingers, .

- How do you feel about your friends, family, your children and especially your husband / wife? I don’t want to be around anyone, except my husband. I feel better knowing I am not completely alone, that my husband is here, but I often don’t want to be around him. I can go to work and interact with people and be friendly, but as soon as work is done I isolate and go home.

11. What are your fears and do you dream of any situation repeatedly? Fears of my health situation, fear that my cat is going to die (she is not sick at all). I haven’t been recalling my dreams lately.

12. What do you crave for in food items and what are your aversions? Crave chocolate and soup. I like sour things, but I can’t eat them since I’ve gotten sick. I like spicy things, but I can’t eat them now with the gastritis. Onions disagree since I’ve gotten sick. I have always hated tomatoes, even before I got sick, and I don’t like the texture of cottage cheese.

13. How is your thirst: Less, Normal or Excessive? Excessive.

14. How is your hunger: Less, Normal or Excessive? Normal.

15. Is there any kind of food which your body can’t stand? Tomatoes.

16. Is your sweat normal or less or more? Where does it sweat more: Head, Trunk or Limbs? Normal.

17. How is your bowel movement and stool type? I tend toward constipation, but right now it is 2-3 x per day.

18. How well do you sleep? Do you have a particular posture of sleeping? On my side, mostly my left side. I have horrible insomnia. I have trouble getting to sleep and I have trouble staying asleep. New supplements will cause me to stay awake all night. Not mind racing, just awake. My ears ring and I just can’t shut down my nervous system.

19. Do you think you are able to satisfy your sexual desires in general? No. I have no libido right now.

20. How do you think you are different from others, if at all? I am anti-social. I am highly sensitive to EVERYTHING – to supplements, people, smells, lights – my nervous systems seems overstrung.

21. What medications have been taken earlier by you to treat the diseases and do you have any particular symptom surfacing after the medication? I have been prescribed Sepia and Carsinosen by two different homeopaths as my constitutional remedy in the past. I sometimes take Nux Vomica 30c which helps with symptoms. I am on antibiotics and herbs for a bacterial infection. I have tried Phosphorus and Pulsatilla at different times.

22. What major diseases are running in your family? Breast can--r, colon can--r, diabetes, arthritis, stroke, gout, depression, anxiety.

23. Describe, how do you look like? Describe your overall appearance. 45 years old, tall (5 foot 10 inches), average weight, wide hips, small waist, small breasts, dark blond/light brown hair. My features tend to be “long.”

24. (ONLY FOR FEMALES)

Please answer the following questions:
(Please give details of your past menstruation if you have attained menopause.)
- Are the periods early, regular or late in general? How long do they last? On time. Presently they are lasting only one day.
- Do you suffer from any kind of physical or mental discomfort before, during or after the periods? Water retention, breast swelling and tenderness, major crying for no reason, irritability.
- Is the flow scanty, normal or excessive? Scanty.
- Is the blood thick bright red or pale watery? Brownish and clotty.
- Do you notice any clots in the flow? Yes.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Your homeopathic constitution seems to be ARS ALB.

Thank you kindly. How would you recommend that I start? 30c? 200c? Would you mind giving me a dosing schedule. Thank you,

magicandmiracles1 9 years ago
To start a constitutional treatment, you can take 3 doses of ARS ALB 200C, each dose 12 hours apart. Take the doses in empty stomach and clean mouth. Don't take any food or drink one hour before or after the dose.

One dose would be 3 drops of remedy in some 5 ml of water.

We will decide on the dosing schedule once you start responding to this potency.

Keep notes on the changes you feel, if any, for the next 7 days and share with me here.

Thank you. I need to order the remedy, so it will take a few days to get it. Once I receive the remedy I will follow your instructions and report back.

Thank you so very much!

It has been four days since I took the remedy (200c Sat morning, Sat evening, and Sun morning). So far, I am much more emotionally stable (no fears, weepiness, or depression).

Physically I am very fatigued all day, and have a hard time sleeping at night. I am still taking herbs to sleep, but I am able to fall asleep now, but I can't stay asleep. Before the remedy, I had trouble falling asleep even with the herbs and couldn't stay asleep, so there is some improvement.

I am on day 27 of my cycle and have some breast tenderness for the last three days and some mild tension in my uterus area - a new symptom.

I have a lot less pain in my neck.

Thank you.

Seems you have responded well.

Please wait for the healing crisis to be over and then you will see a gradual improvement in most of your symptoms. Repeat of the remedy only when you slip backwards or enter a plateau.

When 200C potency doesn't create a response anymore, go for one dose of 1M potency.

Report to me your condition once a month.

Thank you. I will report back in one month.
