1. How was the pregnancy? Did his mother go through any mental or physical trauma during pregnancy or delivery?

No abnormality

2. Describe the family health history of the past two generations on his father's and mother's side?

Father’s side: Father: has mild hypothyroidism, takes medicine for acidity
Grand father: Died of MI (1998) had high blood pressure
Grand mother: still alive take medicine for high blood pressure, diabetes, hypothyroidism

Mother’s side: Mother: healthy so far
Both of the grand parents died : grand father died of MI in 1993, grand mother died of Hep C liver cirrhosis in 1998..

3. Was there any history of syphilis, gonorrhea, insanity, murder, suicide or alcoholism in the last two generations?
No.. only one of shayan’s first cousin sister has some mental depression


4. Describe all mental peculiarities of the child.

1. Impulsive. Does not want to follow rules, wants to play outside after coming back from school but he is instructed to come home first, do his chores and then to play but every time when his sister picks him up from bus stand he does not want to come back home instead wants to stay out or wants to go to other friends house to play..for this behavior he is having trouble in school
2. Is not shy at all, can ask anybody for anything, does not think that he should not ask that.
3. Talks a lot, sometimes talks childish to kids that’s why kids don’t want to talk to him, they get annoyed but at the same time he is very good with the adults, he can spent a lot of times with the adults who just talk to him or gives him attention

5. Describe his thermal preferences? Does he like warm or cool weather? Is he sensitive to changes in weather?
He likes cool weather, I guess..but nothing special..but he feels nature a lot, he loves to gaze at sky, loves moon a lot, lovs to see starts, loves trees around, he is a nature lover, he feels when the climate is changing, he can feel the air..and appreciates the beauty of nature a lot

6. Describe his fears, dreams etc.Does he fear animals, ghosts, darkness etc?
He fears of ghosts like the other kids. He says if his parents die he will murder himself..he started talking like this these days..

7. Describe his general symptoms like hunger, thirst, stool, urine, sweat etc. if anything seems abnormal.

Nothing is abnormal. He loves to eat his favourite food..he loves rice..

8. Does he like to remain aloof at home or likes to be hugged and cuddled?
He loves to be with people all the time. He prefers to pla in the room where his parents are. He plays by himself with making up games but he loves to play with kids. There is a 5 year old and a 4 year old kid in the neighborhood ..he always want to play with them. In school he has a close friend now, he loves to pla with him after school as well.

9. Does he get easily bored with his toys and wants new ones soon?

Yes. He gets bored very easily.

Any other information worth sharing?

He has some speech difficulties. He spits while he speaks. His words are still not clear, sometimes he looses tracks while talking, he is bossy with friends I guess, he is not forgetful . But he is clumsy. He is smart, can talk about science specially space for hours. He loves to read books that he likes.
Another thing, he always wants to hold something in his hands even when he is in bathroom, walking in the car everywhere he needs a toy or anything to hold.

Does he like to be touched, cuddled, caressed etc?
Yes, a lot

Does he like milk to be hot or cold?
cold

Does he cover himself while sleeping? Does he cover his head as well?
He covers himself but not cover his head

What ailments has he suffered from in the past?
Nothing alarming..

Is he quite dominating by nature?
Not exactly

Dear Dr. Rishimba
Thank you. The dosing is little bit confusing. I can make him drink the first dose and then make him lie down and can give him the second dose. Does he need to go back to sleep again? Or it would be okay if he lies down only? It would be difficult to make him sleep once again after he wakes up in the morning. I could definitely make him lie down on bed by reading some books with him..Please let me know.

I understand. Can we buy the pellets instead of liquid form? After getting your answer, I shall order for the med.

One thing I forgot to discuss with you that my son has patent foramen ovale for that he has a heart murmur which needs no further investigation, does not impact with function. It was diagnosed by sick children hospital of Toronto university.

Dear Dr. Rishimba I have given the dose to my son and observed him for the last whole week. Interestingly he behaved everyday well at school and got stickers for that and on Friday he was chosen as the star of the week. His karate teacher also told me that he was focused . But on Friday evening he was not that good at his karate lesson but he has severe cold and runny nose which was irritated him also. I am very happy with his school performance and it was the best week for him ever.. Please advise me what to do next. I want to continue the medicine. Thank you so much.

Thanks a lot. I treated him on 25th of April(Saturday) morning. I am not giving him any antibiotics but we gave him Tylenol and anti histamine for his runny nose.. is that okay?

I shall observe him for this week. His runny nose is very intense, I'll let you know and if needed take the phosphorus..let me know when should I give him his next dose for phosphorus 200C?

Please let me know if I should give the phosphorus 200 c to him or not? Weekends will be better for me to give the dose as he cant drink or brush his teeth for one hour..let me know whether I should again give one or two dose as before on this weekend?

Thanks. The dose is 3 drops in 10 ml water ? He is not allowed to drink or eat 1 hour after taking the medicine? Is that right? Please confirm.

Dear Dr. Rishimba
My son was very hyperactive last week. This Saturday I gave him one dose of Phosphorus in the morning. His cold is much better now. Please advise how much dose should I give him for his hyperactivity?

10 days is over. He was given one dose on 10 days back. He was good in the school most of the days only last Friday he was distracted and didn't finish his works. He had a fun day at school on Friday and he was very excited for that so got excited..this is the problem he gets excited with stimulation like this, mostly when he see kids to play..This Monday he was good at school. Please let me know when I should give him another dose.
