10 month old refusing all food
We have a 10 month old(7 and a half months old adjusted- she was born at 29 weeks). Has a shunt placed for hydrocephalus. Cognitive & developmental delays- some physical delays, was diagnosed with Hypotonia last week. She had an NG tube for almost 5 months. Has been drinking from a bottle since. Last few months have gone downhill with eating- she refuses bottles & a spoon most of the time. She is in feeding therapy to help but haven't noticed any changes yet. She is now losing weight and has dealt with chronic constipation her whole life. Takes miralax daily but BM's are still infrequent. We are getting to the point where we aren't sure what to do with her. Doctors want more tests & better therapy. Also a feeding tube placed again to help with daily caloric intake. do you remember her symptoms when she had hydrocephalus? right now you can try Sulphur 30 to stimulate her immune system. that may prompt her to feed. only one dose may be used.
