Pain, tingling, etc. many times in a day
I've been having this odd sequence of symptoms many times in a day, which don't of themselves suggest anything else apart from possibly a bad headache.Enough times it's triggered by seeing something particular, which tends to happen often when I'm reading or viewing things on a computer screen. It has, though, also occurred in bed.
It starts with a small pain in the dorsal or lumbar spine, not always in the same spot;
then a tingling covering nearly all of my back;
then an *intense* chill over the same area;
then (usually) a dull headache;
and in some cases drowsiness, or if it occurs while I'm in bed, a somewhat-deeper sleep for at least a half hour.
I've been on an increasing list of American prescribed drugs for the better of 15 years, I've had consistent aching in the hands and wrists for around a year now (since the passing of my mother) and the bothersome cold weather in this part of the USA (northeast) is also making for a few more aches and pains, largely in the back.

3. single
4. Weight: 220lbs (100Kg)
5. Height: 5-foot-7 (1.70m)
6. Location: northeast USA, close to Philadelphia and New York
7. Weather: hot summers, quite-cold winters, enough rain and snow to annoy
8. List of your complaints
Overweight, difficulty sleeping, easily irritated. More recent gout in feet.
9. Since how long are you suffering from each complaint
Easily since the 1970s, if not longer. Gout only since mid-2000s.
10. Mildly diabetic, controlled with mainstr. drugs since 2001
11. No particular desires
12. Thirst: moderate to less
13. Tongue and Taste: no issues
14. Current Blood Pressure
Without meds: Top # 160-170; with: top # 120-125
15. One situation that had a big effect on you?
Spent over three years in psychiatric facility; still contend
they never found out everything that was wrong, or couldn't
address it, as family removed me due to high costs
16. Important Question.
Current and previous remedies/medicines you are taking or took in the past?
Conventional: for high BP, diabetes, gout
Homeo.: Calcarea Carb, Sulphur, Aconite, others on occasion
17. Education: 2-year college degree, computer science
18. Nature of work, what do you do for living?
Disabled since late 1980s, not so much physically limited as psychologically
Never been well-suited to physically-involved things, more the mental type

Enough things bother me even if they have little to do with me;
others tend to regard me as different, though not the same ways from all people
Don't like to 'keep to myself,' but that is my tendency
My interest in the Internet draws interest from others, mainly those close to me
in family and community, but only to satisfy knowledge needs they can't serve
elsewhere or on their own
