does acid reflux cause hunger pangs? Page 2 of 2

hi, i have been off of my acupuncture medicine for 1 week now. i was off of the pill last week, but decided to start my new pack yesterday. the good news is that i felt great today. i mean the hunger was completely gone. i still have some burning and some burping, but nothing that really bothered me. i was in a health food store today and picked up nuv vomica just in case today is a fluke. they did not have 200c, only 30X. the woman there explained that if i need to take 200c, that i should take approx. 7pellets of the 30X. is that correct? please advise. and let me know if you think i should still take it even though i feel better today.
thank you.

sttopped acupuncture ?and been off pill? seems to coincide with the hunger settling....the realtionship not sure---best stay away from both---and take single dose (3 pellets ) nux-v 30x in evening before bed --at least 1 hour after last eating---wise to follow restrictions mentioned in earlier posting... NO repetition of dose...

thank you!
just to confirm--when you say single dose you mean that i should take 3 pellets (nux-v 30X) all at once. they should melt under my tounge? and i understand that i shuold take it at least 1 hour after eating and before bedtime. no repetition.
is it wise to take it even if i do not have hunger symptons?

ok, i will try it tonight.
it is funny that you asked about my dreams. last night i had the most vivid dream. i remember a lot of it and some details too which is not common. i rarely remember my dreams. other than that i think i slept through the night from midnight to 7 am. i can not remember anything special about my sleep the night before that. i think i woke up once to urinate which is common.
ok. tonight i will try the nux v. thanks!

Hi John Stanton OR carmelisa,

Just wondering were there follow-up links to the last post by carmelisa dated - 2006-3-22?? I'm reading thoroughly.

Peculiar similarities (no std's etc.. in monogamous relationship for over 15 yrs. I have thought for last 18 yrs It being Allergic breathlessness (big thing) and GERD/acid reflux (a smaller issue). Now looks like I should have focused on GERD and not ignored GERD all along. Had been in denial and yesterday said it out loud after allergist confronted me on it.

I'm trying to figure homeopathic medicine alternative to Nexium which he asked me yesterday. But I'm reluctant to use as a resu;t of it's possible side-effects.

symptoms-sleeping with a couple cushions under my head
and somehow sleeping this way on my sofa (slightly goes down in the middle by tummy). Is the best postue to avoid reflux and sleep through. Bad chest congestion, no breath when living in places very old, wth old carpet, and tree/greenery immediate to doors/windows. I strongly think it is dust from the leaves that give me an instant attack of wheezing and breathlessness, rather than pollen. Pollen count could be highest, but if my place is at least 15 feet away from trees, I am OK.

But even if pollen count is low, and my residence/windows are immediately next to creepers, trees, I get constant wheezing and breath tightness. Sometime feel so tight not only in lung area but also throat..that's when thought acid-reflux joining the other symptoms to make it worse.
