34weeks pregnant Insomnia and persistent heartburnHi,
I was wondering if there is anybody more classically-minded in the ways of homeopathy who would be available to suggest a remedy for me?
As my title says, I am 34 weeks pregnant and suffering from insomnia every night, and awful heartburn induced by eating anything sugary. Even a single bite of banana will send the heartburn shooting up ALL DAY LONG. I have not been able to find a single thing to alleviate it.
It makes me feel incapacitated, and very grouchy/short tempered.
The insomnia is ridiculous-- I have a hard time getting comfortable, much like restless leg, but it's my whole body. Causing me to toss and turn all night. I rarely get into a deep sleep. I spend the whole night feeling like I never really fell asleep, and wake up exhausted.
I've tried a body pillow to help with the physical discomfort, but it only makes me feel claustrophobic with that extra large object crowding me in bed.
Some of it is mental--my mind is just "turned on". I would NOT say that I can't fall asleep because of my thoughts, but it's more like my brain has just decided it's time to be awake.
I would very much appreciate some help! I'm starting to stress about the birth of my baby, and getting enough rest before the big day...especially since I also have a 2 year old to care for and I'm afraid I won't have what it takes to do it all.
Please please help!!-- except please no meditation or any "prescriptions" other than a single homeopathic remedy at a time.
THANK YOU SO MUCH.

A very gentle remedy during pregnancy is Bellis Per and your need falls within the spectrum of this remedy
You can take Bellis Per 6 only once and write back. Very few repetitions needed.

Just to be clear, you are suggesting 6c potency?
I will try this and let you know.
rom109 6 months agoI got it in the mail yesterday and took a dose. Last night I slept a lot better—no tossing and turning, and my mind was more calm. But I woke up feeling very groggy and like I needed to sleep a lot more. Today was pretty difficult to get through being so very tired.
My heartburn is still at maximum. And this morning I was slightly nauseous for an hour or so.
I do feel like it is a little easier to walk; my hips don’t feel so stiff and sore, so that is good.
I will give it a few more days and see how this progresses.

rom109 6 months agoOkay so my sleep has been better...the tossing and turning is somewhat back. I have had a few nights of waking up early(various times) to bad dreams and unable to get back to sleep. This was happening a LOT, earlier in my pregnancy, but seemed to stop for a little...comes back occasionally.
I’m pretty tired during the day, a bit of energy when I first get up that quickly tapers off to feeling like I need a nap around noon ish. But I can never actually fall asleep.
I have pretty uncomfortable Braxton Hicks contractions that make my whole midsection stiff and it is difficult and somewhat painful to move, unless I lie down on my left side. They get worse when my bladder is full...almost as if my uterus is irritable- Once I have ignored the urge to go pee for too long then it sets off a whole lot of BH contractions.
That’s about it for what’s going on.
rom109 6 months agoNew development:
Yesterday I started coughing due to an irritating gathering of phlegm in my throat, I thought it was just from acid reflux and didn’t think much more of it. But through the night I slept horribly. My muscles in the back of my legs running all the way up to my low back is tight and sore, making it difficult to get comfortable.
My throat feels dry and irritated and I woke up with a rattly lung, which I coughed up the phlegm. I feel like there’s a weight on my chest and it’s difficult to breathe. I have a very slightly elevated temperature.
A dull headache, and I’m a tiny bit shaky and weak feeling.
rom109 5 months agoSounds like the Aussie flu- go to urgent care where
They take a chest x ray and confirm it is bronchial-
Usually they want you back next day. Or the ER
Where they give breathing treatments if needed.
All they have for this is anti viral tami flu which help s only in first 48 hours and they gave be anti nausea meds with it- however
Most places are out of this med.
This is a very bad flu- many thought they were doing ok,
Day one or two- then sudden pneumonia.
♥ simone717 5 months agoI’m not in Australia....you’re not a doctor...and I wasn’t talking to you.
And I don’t have the money to get xrays.
it always seems that symptoms sound much worse when written out for a homeopath. Many details given in order to diagnose for a remedy.

♥ simone717 5 months agoDo you have access to Homeopathic medicines from local stores or do you have to order medicines online?
Simone's intentions are to help you
Please note that you should always consult a local doctor as he can see you and monitor you. We are here to supplement your doctor and to heal in the gentle ways.
I can suggest an effective medicine but want to know first how soon you can get it
