Sudden cystic acne on chin?
Hi guys,I have developped cystic acne on my chin, about 4 weeks ago. It is now so bad that my whole chin is one big, painful cyst!
I have suffered from acne for about 10 years now ( am 32), on and off. For this outbreak, I have tried: minocycline, steroids
(by derm), accupuncture and Chinese herbs. The herbs seam to have helped a bit, the steroids just made me feel weak. I have now stopped everything and started taking Sulph 30. Seem to have made the cyst angry! I am so desperate now that am ready to try ROaccutane. Please, anybody, can you advise?

First of all, thank you for replying to my despearate plee :)
Answers to your questions:
female, 60kg, 5'4 (164cm)
started Sulph on Friday, took 3doses and again 1 dose on Sat (30x)
stool normal, although for the past week or so I feel constipated and fat around waist line despite normal bowel movement
no urination complaints (although I have to pee often, and once at night as well)
hair is fair and fine, not a lot of it, dry ends (may be due to color)
fingernails in good condition
medication (since start of drama 4 weeks ago)
* initially imoetigo diagnosed on top of the small cyst on chin - Bactroban prescribed on Monday 4 wks ago(topical Mupirocin), made thngs worse, on wednesday started taking Flucloxacilin, this made things worse (both impetigo and acne by now on whole chin), on following Saturday accupuncture and start Chinese herbs taking for a week, comes Monday minocycline is presribed and I have been on it first 4 days 200gm, from thenon until last Wednesday 100gm a day. steroids (prednisolone) prescribed and taken as follows: 6 tablets for 3 days(start Wed over two weeks ago)then 5 for 2 days, 4 for 2 and 3for 2 days then stopped.
Everything stopped last Wednesday and then Sulph on Friday.
Chin back to v bad minus impetigo, if it really was one (I have doubts!)
Atibiotics used in health history: Penicilin very effective in Bronchitis (had it a lot as a child), erythromycin (for the same thing), etc
Lately been on Minocyclin for a year (last year) to try and clear acne, then turned to homeopathy and vitamins, and had it under control for months, until about 4 weeks ago!
Have been under extra stress last two months - Dad diagnosed with cancer and I have had financial problems, which resulted in sleepping badly, can't make decissions about life and been self absorbed.
Any ideas?

coffee - wakes me up, heart beats stronger etc,
was advised to take Sillica to bring the cyst to a head and to drain it, so took 3 doses (every 2 hours) of 6x, is this good or bad?

IMPORTANT---start use of priobiotic supplement.
MUST avoid all acidic foods and drinks...i.e...coffee;tea;vinegar;fruit and juices;alcoholic beverages;coa-cola,pepsi and such;...etc
aslo --avoid all milk products and spicy foods..
NO other medicines/remedies/herbs/treatments AT ALL.

OK, here we go:
*had to take hep sulph 6x, so taking 3 times a day.
* the cyst got a bit angry and re-groupped - it is now split into two or three angry smaller ones
*got a few really small whiteheads around face, too, plus four bigger red spots on the left cheek (from ear to cheek, in a line?!)
*generally feeling slightly better emotionally, as if the heavy feeling had lifted a bit (not sure how connected this is).
Started on Sunday evening, so will take another dose and then stop.
Any other advise? It has been 5 weeks since the bl**dy cyst, and it just would not go!
