Status as of today (6th Sept'04):
On 3rd Sept, sulphur LM 0/1 solution (as directed) taken 4 hourly, i.e, starting from 8:00 hrs to 20:00 hrs IST, total dose was 4 times.
Aggravation in throat pain & burning sensation in nose & throat noticed.
On 4th Sept, as directed, above solution taken twice only , i.e, at 8:00 hrs & 20:00 hrs IST. Aggravation in throat and also pain in ulcer have increased further without any sign of improvement. So sulphur LM 0/1 solution not taken on 5th Sept., because of aggravation.
Today after a gap 24 hrs, without medication throat pain & burning of nose and throat is still present but slightly less. No further bleeding from mouth is noticed. Swelling of main ulcer at the left side of tongue appeared to have slighly reduced. Pain/burning of ulcers is slightly less.
Please note, that throat pain/burning increases while on bed in the night. During this time when the pain/burning is so severe, that if my father sits on the bed for about 10 mins, the pain in the throat get reduced to the bearable limit. Again the pain increases after some time of lying down in the bed. So father sits two to three times during the period of sleep causing disturvance of sleep. At this time, throat appeared to have dried up.
Also, father will be completing 20 capsules each of Vitamin C & Lato bacill today.
what is the next remedy ?. Should my father continue to take the solution or to wait ...??

yes-continue sulphur LM 0/1 solution as directed except reduce to one daily dose in mornings 1 before first eating....{{once aggravation settle resume..stop when "strong" aggravation occurs again..}}
also continue with daily probiotic /vitamin c--use full dose probiotic and same dose of vitamin c--(if diarrhea-like stool occur ,then reduce vitamin c to 1/2 dose)
any back or stool complaints?

Before your reply, my father had already taken breakfast in the morning. So to take the solution today or tomorrow morning before first eating ?.
Should the father continue to take the dose from the earlier left solution or to prepare it fresh again from the sulphur LM globules ?.
So father will be continuing 1 capsule each of vitamin C & lacto bacill. should the dose of lato bacil to be increased ??
There is no back & stool problems.

yes contiue use of original soultion..follow directions closely for usage and preparation..---wait at least 1 hour and father can take todays dose..
2 capsules lacto bacill daily
1 capsule viamin c daily--unless diarrhea-then 1/2 capsule daily

just as 'right' food , supplementation(probiotic/vitamin C ;in this case) and 'right' living are aspests of establishing well-being;homoeopathic treatment encourages /qualifies the ability to assimilate/utilize these aspects...

Throat pain (left side) has aggravated more. Due to this swalloing & drinking has become difficult today.
As regards Ulcer pain, there is no sign of improvement. Pain / burning still remains the same. Blisters surrounding the mouth remains the same.
Should the medication be continued ??

Generally throat pain is there always, but from today morning,it has increased to maximum level, cannot bear.

Right from the beginning, pain was always there , but in the left side only. Pain is slightly getting reduced, and then it is increasing ...that means pain is always present.

current status :
Father has not taken sulphur LM0/1 for 2 days.
Ulcer Pain / Burning is very severe now.
very difficult to talk, eat & drink. Swelling remains the same. It is same as before taking sulphur.
Throat pain , left side has also increased.

ok nux-v is for any overaction sulphur may have produced---it is now 1:30am EST--i will remain on for a while longer and check in after sleep...you post as often as possible ..so i can access and respond immediately...

if pain is due to sulpur overaction,then nux-v should show responce soon if not immediately (as far as pain is concerned)
