Auto-immune disease
Hello Everyone,SORRY FOR THE LONG POST. JUST WANTED TO MAKE EXPLAIN THE CASE.
My wife just gave birth to our sweet little daughter after a very hard pregnancy. Finally, the rheumatologist diagnosed her with auto-immune disease that may be attaching various parts of her system causing numerous and ever changing problems.
Here is what has happend:
1. Her first trimester started out with nausea as usual.
2. Before the begining of 2nd trimester, she started having severe nasal congestion followed by chest congestions.
3. 3rd trimester she started getting electrical shocks traveling towards the head, waking up at night with shocks etc. Lots of headaches.
4. 4th trimester was a mix of all previous problems together and was even harder.
She was prescribed Paxil, Phenergan, Dose Pack etc by her OB's and neurologists etc. They did a brain mri which was all clear and none of the other billion tests showed anything and was diagnosed with complex migraine.
Mind you, none of the migraine related medicine allopathing and homeopathic did anything.
Well, after the delivery, she continued with headaches and problem breathing. Her complained that some sort of chill starts and then muscles from chest to head start tightening. Less headache though. That continued for a few weeks.
We went to consult her family physician who did some blood tests. Her rheumatic blood count was reported 324 (normal is 10) with no signs of arthritis.
Puzzled with this, doctor decided to hospitalize her to run more tests in a controlled environment while she rounded up other docs.
She was in the hospital for 7 days. Every test came negative except the rheumatic blood test kept going up 50 520 and then above 600. The rheumatologist also ran some blood tests out of which two came positive (CCP and one another).
She finally concluded that during her pregnancy, hormones may have put the immune system in over-drive and turned into auto-immune disease. She has started her on Plaquenil 200mg that is supposed to be with the lowest side effects.
I have not found anything in homeopathic yet. Please help....

Only minor acne about a year ago while she was in India. It was created with ayurvedic/herbal.

Her father is diabetic and has high blood pressure. Her mother has developed severe osteoperosis. Her spine is hollow and had a surgery to add a rod which later on lost a bolt inside and needs to go through another surgery to fix it.

She tells NEVER but I know that she has had a terrible past.

Her mother had surgery two years ago, not sure what medicine were given to her. How is this important relating to my wife?

This is her 3rd marriage. 1st was abusive, 2nd passed away within a week. The I married her. She thinks too much and always takes wrong meaning first on almost anything anyone says. Hope this throws some light. Sort of analysis-paralysis type nature.

Arthritis pain in her bones and muscles is progressing day-by-day. Appears that its eating away on her. She is taking the allopathic medicine I reported but I guess it will take some time to kick in not to mention the side affects will start showing up too.
