Indeed, reverting yellow snot is quite remarkable especially because it indicates infection...But lets wait and see.

UPDATE from 00:00 to 2:40 AM

No noises
Sneezes rarely at the moment, sneeze sounds shorter and dry
Right nostril seems dry? (surprising)
If anything there should be a bit of clear secretions
No other symptoms being observed

I will continue with SILICEA D12 and 6X (made at home) as that is what I ended up giving him. D12 is Schüssler Salts.

I will only be able to observe him in the morning tomorrow and then again on Sunday.

UPDATE 26.11.2023

SYMPTOMS
*It is nearly 8 PM now, there are no visible symptoms.
*No sneezing
*No noises
*Nostrils both clear
*Rabbit is in good spirits, affectionate and playing

Is it okay if I continue with SILICEA D12 and 6X in his water?
How long is it okay for me to continue?

In the meantime I have a very serious mental case in my family and I will post a new thread for you Mr. Anuj to read later, as it is very complex and urgently needs treatment.

Thanking you for your continuous support.

Update 12/12/2023: No major symptoms under that protocol for 2 weeks. He wasnt sneezing much at all and clear nose for 2 weeks.

1 day I forgot to put medication into the water and he reverted back to having white discharge from the right nostril and sneezing. After that I used SIL D12 and it got better for a while, now he is back to sneezing and white discharge from the right nostril.

IMPORTANT: I stopped 6X and gave only Sil D12 which doesnt seem to be doing much. Not sure I should go back to 6X?

After that I gave him CALC CARB (as per your advice if Nat Mur didnt work) for 2 days, he actually got worse...More sneezing and more white discharge.

Then yesterday in the evening and today I gave him LYCOPODIUM C30 because I noted that the symptoms are ONLY on his right side and they aggravate in the evening. I dont see much improvement yet, he continues to sneeze but the color of the discharge is not as white as yesterday (change in color and the amount has also gotten less I believe) I will wait another day (tomorrow) and will update again.

CURRENT SYMPTOMS:

Sneezing, gets worse in the evening (6PM-8PM)
White discharge from RIGHT nostril only (the discharge was white and thick yesterday when taking CALC CARB C30 and today is less thick and less white and less profuse with LYCO C30 )
There is a lot of mucous in his nose and it makes cracking sounds. When you inspect the nostril it is full of snot.
Other than that...eating as usual, active, playing.
Wants affection, yesterday craving for attention and affection which is standing out to me.

My questions: Get him back on NAT MUR C30 or maybe SIL 6X (which I stopped giving and gave D12 instead, maybe he doesnt respond well to D12 and needs 6X). Or try something else?

I will observe what LYCO does tomorrow and await for your instructions.

Symptoms again exactly the same after LYCO (returning white snot on the right side). It has been 24h, I think that there is no change.

With SIL he reacted extremely fast within a few hours.
Gave Kali-bi C30 now since I found veterinary literature for cats that recommends it for similar symptoms. The snot dries out around the nostril.

Will update tomorrow if there is any improvement. If not, I also read in the literature that Phosphor D12 can be used for chronic sinusitis which should be what he has. Kind of lost on what to do here and getting impatient since I have more pets in the household and the constant sneezing worries me due to cross contamination...

I also want to add that his fur doesnt shine and it feels rough to touch instead of soft. I had rabbits in the past with very glossy and soft fur but this one has dull fur.

He is a sweet boy I wish we could cure this.

UPDATE FOR YOU MR. ANUJ,

Ive tried god knows how many different remedies on him now after SIL 6x stopped working I changed it to CAL CARB C30, which didnt change much, then used SIL C30 (thinking maybe the issue is the potency and not so much the remedy), then I used LYCO C30 as explained since his complaints are RIGHT SIDED only, no changes.

I am using each remedy for 1-2 days and then seeing if there is change.

One time his symptoms shifted to fluent, water like coryza and I used ARS C30 which worked for a while but then symptoms came back.

Remedies used recently:
LYCO C30 (no change)
SIL C30 (no change)
CALC CARB C30 (aggravated but didnt change)
KALI-BI C30 (no change)
PHOS D12 (after consulting literature for persistent sneezing/sinusitis in cats) no change

All remedies 1-2 days then switched up. Not sure I need to use them longer?

To this day I have no idea if it is an allergy or chronic sinusitis/rhinitis.

Symptoms....
*are RIGHT SIDED only
*there is sneezing almost always around 5PM (would suggest LYCO since it is also right sided, but no effect...)
*White discharge from his nose (right nostril)
*Sometimes changes to fluent, water like coryza
*Sneezes multiple times violently (6-8 times)
*Sometimes there is build up of mucous which makes cracking noises, only the upper respiratory tract is affected (sil 6x and nat mur relieve this)
*A new symptom recently is that he is shedding some fur.
In terms of his personality he is VERY patient for a rabbit, very kind, loves to be cuddled and holds no grudges. He is very fond of company.

I switched to SIL 6X and NAT MUR 6x both combined in his drinking water 2 days ago, this combination seems to provide the most relief. The nose is dryer (not as much mucous) and he doesnt sneeze as much HOWEVER I feel that I am palliating rather than promoting a cure here.

Whatever he has it seems to be CHRONIC and very PERSISTENT. Havent used NUX yet, maybe I should have used it in between because Ive used so many remedies?

Any suggestions?

Feedback:

*Persistent sneezing continues throughout the day, gets worse when he eats HAY and sometimes worse when he cleans his fur - I believe that the origin has to be an allergic reaction but if I remove the hay he will still sneeze.
*Watery and profuse secretions of the right nostril during the day. Sometimes a bit of white secretion as well. It seems like the secretions and more profuse now, and there is a better drainage (before it was all buildup inside the nose, now it is coming out to the exterior) the fur gets really wet around his right nostril.
*After 7-8PM the nose is 90% dry, maybe a bit of white secretion in the nose. Marked improvements in the evening (pattern).
*No cracking noises in nose
*Itchy ear with ear wax formation inside

Overall we still have symptoms but now the nose is more runny and watery, secretions more profuse and the body is EXTERNALIZING the built up secretions.

I am wondering if this may not be a sign for NUX? But his personality is that he loves to be touched and very affectionate.

SILICEA 6X BE RESTARTED.IN ADDITION KALI MUR 6X.

KINDLY DO NOT STOP THE REMEDIES EVEN IF YOU FEEL HE IS GETTING WELL/WELL.

WILL LET YOU KNOW WHEN TO STOP.
