The ABC Homeopathy Forum

Dosing to prevent aggravations and proving.

I do have a problem with homeopathic remedies that they aggravate too much to me.

Using Sulph 200 for example, aggravates sleep issues, brain fag, irritability too much within a few dosage.

Pulsatilla 30c on other hand aggravates chocking/suffocation symptoms, late night itching rashes all over the body.

Even Nux Vom 200c aggravates my symptoms to an extent that mental symptoms appear with full intensity (irritatibility, intense grief, sleeplessness out of grief), if taken two times/day.

I do have high potency of these meds - 200c, 30c, 200c. Is there any way to reduce such aggravations or proving symptoms till targeted symptoms disappear and newer proving symptoms do not appear or any method of dosing for such?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Homeopathy works bc the body will not tolerate two similar diseases or out of balance states. When the remedy is a good enough match (see materia medica of any remedy and fyi this is very hard to do yourself unless it’s an acute condition-like bruising, injury (arnica) etc.
When a good match is taken the body responds by amping life force up to get rid of the remedy and then as it does it targets the actual disease. Usually follows a pattern-read Herings Law of Cure.
Start with one dose of 30c and wait 24 hours.
1. If aggravation wait until it subsides and see if improvement comes. If improvements come do not dose again until you feel the remedy has stalled out.If the remedy is right the times between doses should get longer until you are cured.
Everyone is going to respond differently. You can also put the 30 in water and take a tsp from that if you feel remedy is right but too strong for you.

So what Ive gathered from Herings aw of cure:

1. The remedy should not be taken under all aggravations and effects of remedy are stalled off.

2. The duration of aggravations and effect of the remedy will decrease successively after each dosage if the remedy is right, along with the targeted disease.

Right?

#1 is right.
On 2-one does not necessarily have to have any aggravation if the remedy is right, the potency is right, and the doses are right.
On aggravations you could have symptoms in materia medica that you never had(proving symptoms) those can wear off and then wait to see if improvement. Or you can have present symptoms get worse(aggravation) then wear off and improvement shows up -
For example parents gave their child one dose of a 30c for cough. Immediately the cough started to get better. But the remedy bottle had directions(which don’t make sense unless the manufacturer wants to sell more pills) directions said take pills every 4 hours.
So they gave a second dose and instantly the cough got worse. They got advice on here, stopped dosing, waited and after 5 hours the cough got better and continued to get better-all they needed was One Dose and there would have been no aggravation if they had waited after the first dose.

For someone very sensitive to remedies, Its better to wait before giving second dosage? Even if the pace of improvement of the symptoms remain slow?

Is there any restrictions to how many dosage of a remedy (lets say sulph 200c) be given in total? (or it can be given till all the symptoms disappear?).

Also, is there any way to evaluate the duration of wait time before giving *inimical* remedies in case of change of symptoms? [those should not be followed?]

One has to wait even if improvement is slow. The body is working things out at its own pace. More is not better and more does not speed up the healing. There are no restrictions on sulph 200 doses as long as improvements are happening-what you look for is “palliation” where the remedy has to be taken over and over frequently but the problem never is cured. This supresses the problem like taking allopathic meds.
As far as inimical the advice is take another remedy before you take an inimical remedy.
It sounds like you are self treating and you need your case taken. Treating yourself on chronic conditions Requires a lot of info. Especially with skin problems like eczema etc, bc for everytime it was suppressed with creams Meds etc it will reappear and has to be managed and can take a long time to resolve.
I saw you took Aconite prescribed by Z two weeks ago -once a day?
You need to report what the results were, what you are taking now to get further advice.

Yes. But I didnt really require Aconite. I had a spine inflammation with heating sensation on the right side of sacrum (base). It went well with Sulphur and Phosphorus, both 200c. I dont think it was a chronic disease, as it happened suddenly out of bad sleeping schedule. Currently, Im trying to improve my sleep as well.
