Nadia

Hi everyone I have recently had a baby and am breast feeding. I find taht I am experiancing mood swings similar to what I used to experiance before my period began. I used to take primrose oil tables that would help and was wondering if thaer is something that you could recomend for me. My moods are very up and down. I get angry very easily and loose my temper but feel bad about it right away. It may be useful to also let you know that it has been 8 weeks since I had a full nights sleep because of feeding my daughter.

thanks for your help love Nadia

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
you need to give a more detailed input about your mental symptoms.

- when exactly does it hapen, can you relate it to some changes in your body

- do you have any uterine disturbances now.

- why do u get upset all of a sudden, any clues?

- tell me some important events about your past life, some sad or shocking events.

otherwise, how is your temperament, your likes and dislikes, response to climates, cravings and aversions, any peculiar feeling in your mind?

I haven't given this much detailed thought but I will give it a try.

I have only been observing the symptoms for the last 3 days. At first I thought that I was getting my period but I bleed very lightly for just 1 day. my period has not returned normally since I had my baby.

I do not have any uterine disturbances.

I seem to get upset easily at my 2 younger children ages 2 & 5. Especially when they made high pitch screaming. Or then they continually run around. Unfortunately common child behaviour.

I do feel that I have anger in me but I don't know why. My father left when I was about 8 and i have not had a relationship with him. I was angry over this for years but don't feel angry about that anymore.

I generally have a happy nature and am able to cope with stress. I am a perectionist and have high expectations of myself. I get very cold especially when I am tired.

you said that your periods have not returned normally since you had your baby,

can you tell me exactly,
- if your periods are always delayed
- or they are irregular
- flow is scanty or profuse at times.
- do you notice clots too.
- do you have headaches, or back pains or abdominal cramps before during or after the periods.

- do you have less, normal or excesive thirst.

- do you get consoled easily during your tough times.

- which time of the day do you feel the worst

- which part of the body is affected most when you get tired.
- tell me, whats your craving in food.

if you can answer these questions, a suitable remedy can be recommended which will take care of your mental and physical irregularities.

thanks for our help.

With my first baby my period did not return for 12 months.
With my second baby I had to bottle feed due to not having enough fat in my milk supply. (I lost a lot of weight due to morning sickness) This caused my period to return around 5 months I think.
This time I don't think that I have had much of a period really as there has been no other period symtoms. I think the occasional bleeding might still be my uterus contracting.

When my period returns they are very regular but not very heavey. They usually last about 6 days and there will be a break of 1 day where I do not bleed at all.

They are to light to have clots. I usually get headaches, acne and back pains before my period and I am grumpy. A heat pack usually helps withthe back pain but I feel sluggish.

I haven't noticed any changes in thirst.

I feel worse in the late afternoon around 3pm when I get tired and hungry, usually for high sugar foods. I don't know of any body part feeling worse I just want to go to bed and sleep. My eyes get very heavey. I am easily consoled with a hug but generally feel like I want to be left alone.

I hope that these answers are in enough detail and I thank you again for your help

Love Nadia

nadia,

take 2 doses of NAT MUR 200C at 6 hours interval.
( one in the morning and one at noon )all in empty stomach.

avoid salt and sweet for the next 10 to 15 days.

come back after 7 days.

do you have any other complaints in your body?

how is your relation to your husband?

Wow salt is easy to avoid but sugar will be difficult. Do you mean that I can't eat anything with sugar in it or just stay away from sweets and lollies?

I don't have any other complaints except acne. I am trying the arnica 30c in water to treat that and it has helped the serverity but there is still a problem with it. I have been using it for 2 weeks.

The relaitionship with my husband is fine but I thinkhe would be happier if I had a greater sex drive, which has always been very low to non existant.

thanks Nadia

i meant to avoid salt and sweets as far as possible. but you can take a little sugar in tea or coffee. no problems.

your sexual drive will also increase with NAT MUR 200C.

just notice your changed symptoms over the next 2 weeks and come back.

you may need to repeat the dose 2 or 3 times to get a long term cure.

best wishes.

Hi I am hoping that you could help me with something else.
I have asked for help on this site regarding acne that I have been suffering from since I was pregnant with my first baby at 24years old. . I have recently had my third baby at 30years old. I get it around my neck and chin and it dosen't go away until I stop breast feeding. Even then I still get small pimples. I have read about using arnica 30c wet dose and have been doing that for 2 weeks. I have seen a small improvement in the redness and size but I am still getting small pimples. I was then advised to try Belladonna 30c 1 daily dose for 1 week. I am now not sure what to do because the 2 people who are advising me seem to be arguing between each other and I do not know who to listen too. You seemed to offer me great advice last time so i was hoping that perhaps you may help me again.
king regards Nadia

you need to describe the pimples, like

- pus filled or not
- itching or painful on touch
- colour and size
- aggravated by & emeliorated by
- dry or wet on scratching

if its pus filled pimples, the best is hepar sulphur 30c one dose everyday.
this will clear of in seven days.

if the pimples are dry and dont have any pus, try carbo veg 30c twice a day for a week.

Hi,
When the pimples were first there they were painful and some were puss filled. They were very red and raised. Since v=using Arnica 30c wet dose they seemed to have settled and now the new ones are very small but itchy. I the ones that that have settled don't seem to dissapear.

carbo veg 30c two times day for 3 to 4 days and then one or two doses of carboveg 200c.

this will clear off the dry ones.
