The ABC Homeopathy Forum
Am new to site...help needed!
I do apologise if others have asked the same question but I'm desperate..I suffer from Trigeminal Neuralgia which has been diagnosed by a doctor. I have been prescribed 'Tegretol' which I only take when an attack comes on. My last attack (10 weeks ago) lasted about 3 weeks which is hard going when you have 2 children.
Can anybody recommend a homeopathic remedy which can help? I will try anything.
This latest episode which started 3 days ago woke me up in the middle of the night. It affects the right side of my face. My throat hurts when I swallow, my face throbs, the skin is SO tender to touch, my teeth ache and even to brush my hair hurts. I feel my whole face is throbbing. This doesn't come and go, these pains are there constantly until I get better. Nurofen seems to ease it slightly. The tegretol makes me feel dozy!
Is there anyone with a suggestion?
Thank you...

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Could you give me a rough idea how long it takes for someone to respond to a question? Shall I log in again tomorrow or wait for a few hours today incase someone rsponds?
Thank you

Pulsatilla
Thuja
Mercury
Are the three remedies most likely to help this problem.
If you are Blonde , pale complexion and dislike rich food Puls is probably best.
If you are ' up and down' and the problem is worse at night then use Merc.
If you had a Vaccination in the months before the first attack then Thuja is good. Also if you have a 'shiney' facial skin.
