This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Eat - after chewing well - all kinds of nuts.
Donuts are good.
Toasted buns with lashings of butter are good.
Potato crisps are good.
Eat little and often.

Wow. I didn't know anyone else had this problem. I'm 22 and 5'4'. My weight fluctuates between 75 and 90 pounds. I've tried EVERYTHING ayone has ever suggested or that common sense told me might help but it's like I've maxed out my ability to gain.
However, as a freshman in high school, I weighed 42 pounds. So I have gained some. Two things helped immensely. One, my doctor prescribed me a medicine called Periactin (the generic is cyproheptadine). It's an antihistamine, but a side affect is an increased appetite. (note: i do have a decent appetite, but on that medicine, i just STAY hungry, and will eat even the GROSSEST foods just to eat SOMETHING). beware though, when you first start taking it, it makes you very sleepy. i slept for an entire weekend the first time...
Also, GNC used to ake weight gaining tablets. Basically the same stuff in their weight gaining shakes, but in a chewable tablet (same chalky type of pill as tums or maaloxx) so that even if it didnt taste good, it took 10 sec. to swallow so it was tolerable. howeer, i have not been able to find such things anymore...
but yeah, that's my advice and i'd love to hear anyone else's suggestions.
