Obsession with particular person
Could you please tell me what remedies might be used for this rubric: keeps thinking about particular woman, thinks she's the only one, 'in love' etc. I may give you more details later, but if you would, I would just like to hear what the different possible remedies are first. Thank you.TreeFrog on 2006-09-22

Hello Treefrog.
The first two remedies which spring to mind would be Ignatia and Nat Mur. Ignatia is more of an hysterical type obsession, and the individual very eratic in thier behaviour, Nat Mur more silent and brooding, with a tendency to be greatly affected by music.
I hope this helps.

Thanks for your replies. Hahnamania, that's a very interesting distinction. That helps a lot, thanks.

By examining the Obsessive Love Wheel (OLW), which is designed to illustrate an overall process called Obsessive Relational Progression (ORP) [the specific attachment style of people Who Confuse Love with Obsession] it may be possible to recognize if you have a problem. There are four phases of ORP and each one carries unique behaviors. As demonstrated through the wheel, once an unhealthy attachment to another starts, the person who Confuses Love with Obsession begins to lose emotional control.
