Costochondritis & Cracking joints

Hi I am male, 19 yrs old, 5'5, 145 lbs, normal physical shape, no heart conditions, no cholesterol, no high blood pressure, just had a physical everything was ok, but I am a habitual joint cracker and been affected by Costochondritis.

I do a lot of strenuous wrestling, jiu-jitsu, and other types of martial arts. I do a lot of warm up stretching in order to improve my flexibility. Well just recently i have discovered that I am able to crack my Sternum. I do so whenever I stretch and arch my back or do a cobra stretch, pushing and applying pressure to the chest. This seems to be the main cause of my costochondritis. The current treatments are to let the area heal and take pain killers or muscle relaxers.

Is there a way in which I can build up my muscle, joint, and cartilage strength through vitamins, foods, or joint placement techniques (like chiropractic help).

This issue has caused me a lot of stress through weariness, I don't exercise as much as I used to because I am afraid the condition will get worse, but I don't want it to persist. This also affects a lot of my sleeping habits or patterns, I wake up with soreness and muscle aching, around my neck, back and arms.

I know its a lot of info, but your help is greatly appreciated, Thanks.
