The ABC Homeopathy Forum

hello

i am indian girl. I am suffering from depression and anxiety from past 4 years now.I am on a antidepressant medicine since 2004 aug,In 2003 i had got a very bad panic attack, this is how it all started. But right now my intial problem is that i feel very uncomfortable feeling in my chest, like pressure all the time, feel pain in the bones of my chest often and inflammation, sometimes feel like pins and needles pinching me in my chest. I dont want to wear anything tight in this area.Basically, is my breast bones of the chest and upper back. This feeling is very irritating. If i lie down still get some relief. But if i am roaming around or outside somewhere, get tired very easily. Since there always like a stretch in this area. Intially the antidepresant that iam taking took care of it in the begining. But when i tried to reduce my dose 20mg a day a little, say only by 1/3 that also a week, i started getting withdrwal symptoms i suppose. I started to feel pressure in my chest again, night sweats and all. Then i consulting my treating physician, i told me to go back to my regular dose of 20 mg and i be fine within a week or two. It did get better, but did not go away, since then i been having chest discomfort on and off.I
am on regular dose till now, still this discomfort is always there. Can you please suggest some medicine for my condition and also let me know if it is okay to take it with allopathy antidepressant.

thanks alot

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
its quite a common problem in people using anti depressants.

if you want to get out of the vicious circle, its advisable to slowly taper down the anti depressant to zero and then go for a homoeopathic treatment.

its not advisable to try both the same time.

This is kim from usa, thxs for yur advise rishimba. So now you advising me to get off from antidep completely, then try homeo medicine.
Now the problem is this very difficult for me to do, as if you plz refer to my post again, i did explain that i tried to tapper the medicine by only 1/3 of a dose in aug 2005, for 1 week. And the result was i faced withdrawl symptoms, started to get chest pressure again, night sweats and other problems. And been back onthe regular dose since then,my symptoms improved a little, but still i am dealing with chest pressure and pain chest bones, often inflammation and feeling of pins and needles pinching me in the chest. Not able to wear a bra still, is irritating, since i dont want anything tigt in this area. I mean i am still not able to get to the point where this antidep. had gotten me intially when i started taking it. Means initially it did take care of my chest uneasiness and all. It just got screwed up , after i had try to cut down my dose only by 1/3 that also for a week.So my concern is if i try that again i mean tappering off the med, it may give me withdrawl symptoms again. So maybe you can help taking off this medicine, i means if you can suggest some homeo remedy , so i dont get withdrwal symptoms or iam able to handle it. Maybe some supportive remedy which can help me get off this medicine without ant difficulty. Can you plz consult other homeo in yur area, or forward my profile to them, maybe they can offer me solution. Please iam desperate for help, wants to leed a normal life. This chest discomfort and pain is preventing me doin much of activities, so iam gainig weigth. And i dont want to be heavy.

to all the homeo docts out there.

please help me.

Waiting earliest reply.

thanks
bye
