Daisy,

Do you REALLY need to quote out of context (i,e, in error) to try to make a point? Or do you just not read and comprehend what is right there before you? Or check the context of the quote just a little bit?

Personally I suspect you did a little Google search but then didn't check your reference properly before quoting it, yes? Just saw only what you wanted to see and that's all?

Frankly I'm saddened at the blatant attempt to be rude to me here. I've not been rude to you...

How many tests do Boiron publish each year?

How much money does Boiron make each year?

lets put it this way
there wouldnt be 4 very large homeopathic hospitals in england , using homeopathy would there be if it didnt work and the one that i know of has been around a long time

I'm afraid I don't know these hospitals, Alan. Can you identify them for me?

Many things have been around for a lot longer than homeopathy, or modern medicine for that matter. The notion of an Earth-centric solar system has been prevalent for tens of thousands of years, and has billions of believers even today...but does that therefore make it so?

We have a saying in our mother tongue.

You can get oil from sand by grinding it.

You can drink water from an oasis.

You can get a rabbit horn, if you search long enough.

But,

You can't convince a fool, who doesn't want to listen.

Now that is rude, Murthy - no need for such comments. ZepOz and co. are certainly not fools. They are a bunch of very smart people who worship at the altar of Scientific Evidence. We cannot provide sufficient evidence for them, that's all. No reason why they shouldn't ask questions, though - up to us to respond or not.

Hi Ripas

I am a member of JREF forum, and I know how rude and abusive these people can be.

In contrast, a quote from a poem is nothing. It is not aimed against any individual, and I quote this quite often.

Homeopathy medicines are mostly ineffective-sometimes they work but often for acute problems. This system needs to justify itself and build up logical explanation and move from medicocrity to brilliance. therwis, it will remain sor of faith healer system, like monks and prayers.

i have been using remedies for 22 years and nothings easy its takes alot of reading, research, always keep an open mind as closed mind never recieves or learns anything its not hit and miss you have to have all the facts it might be one thing missed and the remedy doesent work people who have blood disorders might not beable to use arnica but can use bella perennis Etc Etc
this system does not has to justify anything we belive what we want to believe

Homeopathy has got a theory, philosophy, well laid out posology, and logical explanations on how it works.

It may not be possible now to show the 'evidence' the way septics want it, but, there is no doubt whatsoever that it works.

It helps not only the acute problems, but almost all of the chronic problems for which the modern medicine has no answer except the pain killers.

Even for problems like diabetes and hypertension, the modern medicine never cures, but helps to keep it under check.

However homeopathy in the right hands can cure these conditions too.

The only area where modern medicine is helpful is in life threatening emergencies, and here too efforts are being made to use homeopathic medicines in a hospital set up, and results are encouraging.

Many of the well educated in India are gradually understanding the benefits of homeopathy, and are using it more often.

Hospitals are being setup for in patients too even in some district headquarters. Cities like Bombay already have homeopathic hospitals.

Many surgeons are using homeopathic medicines for post operative recovery.

Childern are being rised exclusively by using homeopathic medicines, and this generation is going to show the difference to the world, what is meant by real health, in the next 30 years or so.

Murthy,

I have been to India recently, and have seen some of the homeopathic hospitals you refer to. It might be better if I didn't comment on them here...

Of course, you won't tell the whole story about the visit by the Pakistani homeopaths to the JREF forum, will you, Murthy. About how they flaunted the forum rules, were childish, failed to provide the answers they promised, and stuff like that? No-one was rude to you, and even though we bent over backwards to accomodate you all, only one or two persistent recalcitrants had there accounts suspended. YOU still have your account there, and it is still active...why don't you post there any more, Murthy?

Alan,

I have indeed done a great deal of research, over a number of years now. But I was hoping that those people who were intimately involved in the practice would be the very best source of information about it - don't you agree? If so, how about some references, Alan?
