"Danger" can we discus? Page 3 of 3

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Dear friends,

I would like to have your opinion on the following issue.

'B' compliments 'A' for certain qualities that he likes in 'A'. Our friend 'C' does not like either 'A' or 'B' and starts to burn with jealousy and contempt. Then calls 'A' a donkey and 'B' a camel.Earlier 'C' was crying hoarse about personal vendetta on the part of some forum members without offering any proof.

Now the question is, does 'C' qualify to be the donkey or the camel of his/her joke, or a 'snake' as snake remedies are known for their jealousy in homeopathy.

I look forward to some interesting comments on this.

Any one can see who is boiling now. I am not related to either of you. I have my proven reputation which you won't be able to understand, and I don't intent to put it before you to convince you ar any one.

If you have no arguments to offer then why not just keep quiet and let those who are capable of discussing, discuss.Your reputation on this forum has been tarnished by your inability to understand simple probability and then launching yourself at fellow forum members and calling them animals.

None of my relatives is as rude and impolite as you.Hence no chance of your being related to me.Your jealousy at the compliment given to me is for all to see who are reading this thread. That certainly does not cover you with glory.

By the way, did you build your reputation by offering spring water to your patients or by calling them names?I wish you could build your reputation here by treating some patients or by giving some solid arguments.

I didn't come to this Forum either to advocate for Homeopathy or oppose Homeopathy. I only intented to put up ideas for rational thinking in support or against Homeopathy. If professionals were in support or against, I would have satisfied with intelligent discussions. Instead, all blind followers of Homeopathy started attacking a few who ware innocently asking questions. They were trying to explain the effect of Homeopathy with the help of modern science and at the same declairing modern science is not capable of understanding Homeopathy.

I am not a Homeopath even though I learned it along with other disciplines. As stated earlier, I do belive there are effective treatments in all the disciplines. I have seen an Acupuncturist curing tooth-ache, and I tried to understand and belive I understood how the pin-pricks worked, in light of modern scientific knowledge. I don't belive in the 'ying-yang- theory on which that system is based. Similarly I have my own convictions about Homeopathy. I honestly thought, I would be able to sharpen my thinking on Homeopathy by some intelligent inputs.

I now practice Herbal Medicine but I am not entirely againt conventional medicine, like most of the Herbalists. Only that system can save a life in an emergency. All these 'venom spitting' opponents of conventional medicine will run in to save their lives when such situations come. It would surely come to them sooner or later.

I have never mentioned that i am against allopathy in all situations. No one can deny its role in extending life spans and eliminating a number of infectious diseases.Similarly, in the case of surgical cases.

But that cannot be an argument against homeopathy.Homeopathy stands on its own feet and on its own merit. It does not need approval from the allopathic mainstream to survive and flourish.

If discussions are kept with in the realm of decency, it is good for everyone concerned. No one attacked anyone before you calling us 'names' to put it mildly. If you think that i am wrong then why don't you cite some instances of such aggressions.

Hi Sheena

If you can't discuss politely, better leave it to others, who can do so.

Rajiv, I don't see how we can have a serious discussion of A, B and C until they complete the standard questionnaires for us...

Hi Murthy,
I have never addressed any one personally in this Forum so far. Even when Mr Rajive accused me for calling names, which actually I didn't. I only told an anecdote which was befitting a particular situation.

But Mr. Murthy, you are different. You talk as if you own the whole 'forum'. How could you talk about politeness in this forum? I had seen a number of your posts where you behaved 'very polite' when you wre thrashed like a street --- by a number of eminent others for your so called 'polite' behavior. They are still there for you read and perspire. I really thought you deserved pity then.

Where was I impolite in all me postings, compared to yours. Were you reading them or just....

So, you are in a mood to fight. I am not.

Haven't we seen these tactics before? Can't find any reasonable answers to questions put, so throw dirt at the questioners, and make wholesale accusations you can't substantiate.
There's an old quote:
'Two look through the same bars; one sees mud, the other sees stars.'

Does God exist?

A man went to a barbershop to have his hair cut and his beard trimmed.
As the barber began to work, they began to have a good conversation.
They talked about so many things and various subjects.

When they eventually touched on the subject of God, the barber said: 'I
don't believe that God exists.' 'Why do you say that?' asked the
customer. 'Well, you just have to go out in the street to realize that
God doesn't exist. Tell me, if God exists, would there be so many sick
people? Would there be abandoned children? If God existed, there would
be neither suffering nor pain. I can't imagine a loving a God who would
allow all of these things.'

The customer thought for a moment, but didn't respond because he didn't
want to start an argument.

The barber finished his job and the customer left the shop. Just after
he left the barbershop, he saw a man in the street with long, stringy,
dirty hair and an untrimmed beard. He looked dirty and unkempt.

The customer turned back and entered the barber shop again and he said
to the barber: 'You know! what? Barbers do not exist.' 'How can you say
that?' asked the surprised barber. 'I am here, and I am a barber. And I
just worked on you!' 'No!' the customer exclaimed. 'Barbers don't exist
because if they did, there would be no people with dirty long hair and
untrimmed beards, like that man outside.' 'Ah, but barbers DO exist! '
answered the barber. 'What happens, is, people do not come to me. '

'Exactly!'- affirmed the customer. 'That's the point! God, too, DOES
Exist! What happens, is, people don't go to Him and do not look for Him.
That's why there's so much pain and suffering in the world.'
