Bloody sinus

My left sinus/nose bleeds daily. Recently, cuts and irriations within the left nostril persist, are reluctant to heal, and when one relieves, another one pops up. Condition was suggested as chronic sinusitis/post nasal drip -- I've seen many drs, tried many remedies from simple to costly to top-of-the-line -- nothing works. Diflucan/Nystatin don't work. My condition affects my upper lungs. I feel chronic pain and fatigue daily. All believe this is based in fungus -- but no anti-fungals work. Tests show no cancer. Now, I have bloody hemorrhoids. So, what in heck is this? Does anyone -- anyone -- have any clues? Thank you.

OK -- here's my responses -- thank you for your help.

Patient ID: Sex: Age:
56, Female, white, Polish/German/Swedish background

Please answer the following questions in a descriptive manner after careful analysis and recollection of previous experiences and happenings.

1. Describe your main suffering?
Congestion and feeling of infection in sinuses, left sinus bleeds badly daily, cuts/irritations in left nostil that never seem to heal, right sinus also affected but not nearly as bad, severe joint/muscle/deep bone pain, difficult to walk initially after sitting, headaches esp in temples, bouts of chronic fatigue (can be bedridden for up to three days), upper chest problems, slightest exertion can sometimes cause me to be winded -- or -- I'll feel a 'trigger' -- and know that the exertion will cause me to weaken, feel sleepy or fall deeply asleep, overweight by 50+lbs., am 200 lbs., 5'5'.

2. What other physical sufferings do you have in your body?
I 'feel' my circulation sometimes and what seems like electrical currents running through my body. I had three herniated cervical discs from a 96 auto accident, one surgically removed, replaced by left hip graft. Arms often go numb. Parts of legs go numb. Have benign tumor in right foot. Have 'rings' of aches pains 2' above ankles, 2' above/below knees. I have what feels like mouth thrush.

3. What mental sufferings / feelings do you have associated with your physical sufferings?
Anxiety and worry that my physical problems will cause sufficient deterioration that I will be unable to function and support myself.

4. What exactly do you feel when you are at your worst?
Headache pain, overall body/bone/joint/muscle pain, arms numb, left leg and arm runs cold (no heating pad can seem to warm these limbs until the cold has run its course), cannot sleep, fall asleep but awake usually at 3:30AM, sinus won't stop bleeding - constantly using tissues to stem flow, left nostil extremely irritated, inside of mouth irritated, upper lungs feel a weight/pulling down sensation.

5. When did it all start? Can you connect it to any past event or disease?
I was relatively healthy until 1996 auto accident in which I was sitting in traffic, hit from behind. I did not learn of my cervical back injury until six months later -- my left arm went numb. During this same period, mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Dementia -- cared for her for 21 years -- living hell. I've been deteriorating since.

6. Which time of the day you are worst?
Late afternoon/early evening.

7. What are the things which aggravate your suffering and which are those which ameliorate the same?
Exertion (even the slightest exertion) aggravates pain, may lead to extreme pain/fatigue -- and causes me to be winded. Warm epsom salt bath takes the edge off. Salt irrigation of sinuses stops the worst of bleeding/irritation, but only for a short time.

8. Do your think your sufferings have relation to any external stimuli (like, change of place) or any internal biological changes in the body, like, menses (in females)?
The females in my family have late start menstruation and late menopause. I began my periods when I was 18. I went thru menopause three years ago. I recently moved from one state to another. My mother died after 21 years of caring for her as she declined through Alzheimer's / Dementia. I still care for my 65/mentally retarded/deaf/blind sister (however, my sister is very easy to care for).

9. When do you feel better, during hot weather or cold weather, humid or dry weather?
I am very uncomfortable in wet heat. Feeling hot will awaken me. I am especially comfortable during Fall when weather cools, there's inviting breezes, when weather is neither too hot or too cold. I am at peace near water: I long being on the coast or near a lake/river/stream. I'd rather be around snow than be in Florida.

10. Describe your general mental set up? Are you Moody, Arrogant, Mild, Agreeable Changeable, Nervous, Suspicious, Easily offended, Quiet, Arguing, Irritating, Lazy etc.
When I have a task, I am centrally focused, wish to be in control, yet procrastinate. I'm always leading the way. My family sees me as its center. My negative self-talk is based from childhood abuse. I am strong in crisis, speak-up publicly if others need help, often feel lonely, love a lively discussion, curious about all things, distrusting of people. Given past disappointments, I am reluctant to reach out.

- How do you feel before or during a thunderstorm?
Always at peace. The pressure seems to go away. I don't feel alone.

- Do you like being consoled during your tough times?
No

- Are you sensitive to external stimuli like smell, noise, light etc?
Heavy metal/needlessly loud music is highly irritating to me, I simply must shut it off. Bright light from sun -- I must wear wrap-around sunglasses -- or I may be unable to see well.

- Do you have any typical habit or gesture like nail biting, causeless
weeping, talking to one self etc?
I bite my nails badly. A highly sensitive thought/discussion will cause me to feel deeply in my core, I'll break down in tears -- even if the event at the time itself shouldn't cause me to weep. I feel a deep need for privacy. I am insatiably curious about many things -- if I become interested in something, I will read all about it -- then suddenly, I lose interest and am on to other things.

- How do you feel about your friends, family, your children and especially your husband / wife?
Bad childhood due to sibling abuse, parents separated when I was three, loving dad, mom was emotionally absent, no children, few friends, difficult making new friends, husband is disappointing, doesn't provide what I need emotionally but remains a friend.

11. What are your fears and do you dream of any situation repeatedly?
I have a fear of being 'found out' -- about what -- I do not know. I fear not being able to survive my present physical problems. My family relies on me -- without me -- they could not survive. I cannot remember most dreams. But dreams I remember are often theme based in escape or being chased.

12. What do you crave for in food items and what are your aversions?
I crave bread/butter, potato salad, coffee. I hate anchovies, meats especially bacon, sausages.

13. How is your thirst: Less, Normal or Excessive?
Normal to less. I am trying to drink more water -- typically drink only water or herb tea.

14. How if your hunger: Less, Normal or Excessive?
I often do not feel satisfied after meals despite ensuring I eat protein as I'm supposedly a protein metabolic type.

15. Is there any kind of food which your body can’t stand?
Anchovies, sardines -- or, excessive fruits in one meal -- I'll get extremely weak.

16. Is your sweat normal or less or more? Where does it sweat more: Head, Trunk or Limbs?
Normal, sweat more in trunk

17. How is your bowel movement and stool type?
Bowels good, stool formed, no constipation or diarrhea, not floating, have bloody hemorrhoids, color is lt brown

18. How well do you sleep? Do you have a particular posture of sleeping?
I do not sleep well. I become very sleepy around 10-11PM, then wake-up 3:30AM, cannot seem to return to sleep until 7AM -- on worst days -- I'll then sleep to 12-1PM. My favorite posture is on my right side, left leg up, right arm under pillow, head supported by neck pillow

19. Do you think you are able to satisfy your sexual desires in general?
I only have occasional sexual desires, as much because I do not feel well, do not like my appearance and simply lack opportunity.

20. Do you have any strange, peculiar or unusual symptom or feelings? How are you different from others?

Anxiety of being 'found out' -- about what -- I do not know. People do not warm up to me in conversation. I always feel distant from others. I sense anger and unfairness within myself, stemming from what -- in general I know, exactly -- still don't know. I'm suppressing memories.

21. What medications have been taken earlier by you to treat the diseases and do you have any particular symptom surfacing after the medication?
Diflucan and Nystatin -- no effect.

22. What major diseases are running in your family?
Father/cancer,

mother/Alzheimer's Dementia/high blood pressure/stroke/heart attack,

sister/hypothyroid/Usher's Syndrome/deaf/blind/sleep apnea

23. Describe, how do you look like? Describe your overall appearance.
My facial color appears healthy, skin tends to dry/flake between eyebrows, I'm losing my eyebrow hair, my skin remains youthful/without wrinkles, beginning of bags under eyes, color around eyes good/no pink or gray, whites of eyes OK/no yellow, tongue is not coated, overweight by 50+ pounds, weight is mostly around stomach/hips/thighs, hands somewhat fat and stiff, hair is graying/white, eyes appear tired/stressed, sometimes bloodshot.

Thank you for your time and any insight you can provide. I look forward to your response.

your symptoms are polychrest in nature and thus may need more than one remedy to cure you completely.

take PULSATILLA 200C one dose every 4 hours when your suffering starts. take it as long as the sufferings persist. this is based on your present symptoms and this will reduce your pains.

however, you may need, at some point of time, a few more remedies to cure you fully. that will be based on the totality then.

but for now, take PULSATILLA which will take care of the bleeding sinus affections.

Thank you for your recommendation. I will try the remedy and see what happens. Thank you again for your time and consideration. Sincerely, Esprit.

My health food store has Pulsatilla 30 and suggests that a max of six pellets is taken. Is this the correct dosage? Thank you. Esprit.

Esprit last decade
pulsatilla 30c will not bring much of a reaction in the body. you need to take pulsatilla 200c.

number of pellets do not make much of a difference. 2 to 3 pellets of pulsatilla 200c is what is required to be taken as a single dose.

IS Arnica 6x pills good what is the differance betweem 6x and 6c

RajAsha last decade
x is the decimel scale and c is the centicimal scale.

1x is one part remedy in 9 parts of water or diluted alchohol.

1c is part remedy in 99 parts of water or diluted alchohol.

so, theoretically 6x will be equavalent to 3c in potency strength.

arnica 6x would be suitable for acute physical pains and bruises. it would follow aconite nap.
