antidoting question?

If a person needs to antidote a remedy, in which case do they take the remedy's known antidotes; vs take the same remedy but in a lower potency?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Standard protocol is to take known antidotes in low potency.
But sometimes, same remedy when taken in slightly varied potency will antidote previous dose. Also world class homeopath like Elaine Lewis subscribes to latter view.

But most may not subscribe to second view.

Thanks for your reply, maheeru. I wonder which situations to use each one in.

Dear starnet

When in doubt go by the book. The standard protocol is the most proven way.
