Dog eating inedible objects

I am treating a dog who eats rocks, stones and macademia nuts from the yard he is kept in. There have been three bowel obstructions due to this resulting in surgery. He has a history of skin irritations, digestive problems, long lanky dog (Basset Hound). Any suggestions?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
I don't know if it matches the rest of it (I would have expected pudgy, not lanky), but Calc. carb. has a pica component.

Thanks! He is a bit lanky but mostly because he has had a lot of surgery for bowel obstructions and so probably not eating as much as most Bassett Hounds. I am also looking at the flower essence Crab Apple. I had Calc Carb on my short list so thanks for the confirmation.
