This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.

Check if your symptoms correspond with the drug picture of PLUMBEM METALLICUM.

Constipation is one of the leading symptoms along with pain in the abdomen (intestines) once in a while.
Some times dull pain radiating to other parts too.

They can be all linked to the wrist cramp.

Rather than calling it a "name," homeopathy treats symptoms. Sitting in a computer chair for long periods of time is not beneficial for the entire body. As Pankaj suggests, make sure all of your body is in "working order."

You may consider monthly body work to deeply massage all the places one would not normally exercise while walking or performing self-exercising. There are several hand exercise objects for sale here and there. Test them out.

If you are married, ask your wife to massage your hands up to your elbows each evening. Or pay a manicurist to do this on occasion. Maybe you and another computer person can "trade" massages of the hands to elbows.

Whatever you do, avoid surgery. I treat unsuccessful surgery constantly.

CAUSTICUM is also good for the wrists and busy legs while sleeping...Sabra

Try using the mouse with the other hand, change hands a bit. Make sure you are sitting comfortably at your desk. You should have feet on the ground when knees bent (90 degrees), back straight, wrists at keyboard level (you can use a special mat)when elbows bent 90 degrees. Keep head straight - adjust height of screen if necessary and make sure there's no glare on your screen. Just a few tips so you don't end up with more problems. There are ergonomic keyboards available too but I believe they take a bit of getting used to! Meanwhile the odd massage does sound good along with any remedies.
