Pain in the right elbow
I shifted some belongings in my house in January. After that I have continuous pain in my right elbow starting from elbow to the wrist. Doctor says it is Tennis Elbow. I have tried several pain killers. Please helpnaresh846 on 2007-03-19

Thanks Rishimba. Incidentally I also have pain in my left jaw for the last 8 months. I have seen several dentists, Neurologist, Physician etc. Neurologist said it is Trigeminal Neurolgia (TN). I took Nerontin for some 30 days without any effect (yes there were side effects) I am living with the pain. I dont know what it is. Dentists say there is no problem with teeth. Please help.

It is sharp piercing pain. Sometimes during it pierces right up till head.
- exact location, upper or lower jaw.
It is in the lower jaw but goes upto ear and then sometimes upto head. When I press my ear I can feel the pain. Brain MRI was also done. But everything is OK there. There was something called NCV (some current applied to various parts on face see the reaction) also done, results were OK

One day after having food I had taken Saunf. There was a small stone in that and I happened to bite it. Pain started after that.
- are you sure its nerves or could it be muscles, tendons or ligaments.
I am not sure about it. On of the eight dentists that I tried said it is muscular. He advised hot/cold fermentation alternatively and some 10 days medicine (Chlorzoxazone, Diclofenac Potassium). Initially there was some releif but again the pain started. I repeated the medicine after a gap of 1 month. But there was no relief.

While eating it is more. When I get up in the morning it is more. Evening also it is more. But it remains throughout the day.

I think cold condition makes it worse. Also I have found it to be increasing when I am worried about something.

the remedy seems to be VERBASCUM THAPSUS which is also called Mullein Oil.
if the pain is neuralgic in nature, the above remedy need to be taken.
take a few drops of tincture or 3x potency at least 3 times day with some water.
continue it for many days till there is an amelioration in the pain.

Thanks for your response. I have two queries
1. Whether Mullein oil needs to be applied to the affected area. Whether three times a day will do
2. Is this Tincture iodine which needs to be consumed with water. As I understand it is some antiseptic like Dettol. Please correct me if my understanding is wrong

you can take ARNICA 200C and the homeopathic VERBASCUM THAPSUS 3X both alternately.
as the pain not acute and its been continuing for months, local application will not matter much.
juat take the two remedies for some days.

I have been able to get ARNICA 200C. Initially you have mentioned I should take three doses with 2 hour interval. How many pills are to be taken in single dose. Generally it is 5 piils. If it is working whether single does is enough.

take 3 to 4 pellets in a single dose.
single dose is not enough in this case. the pain will not reduce in a single dose. you have to take repeated doses till the pain remains.
initially, you can start with frequent dosing and when the pain reduces a little, take it once or twice a day.

I have tried Arnica Montana 200 ch for five days. There is no relief. Elbow pain continues. Please guide.
