The ABC Homeopathy Forum

bad breath again, appreciate your expertise..

Greetings,

I'm male, 24 years old and I've been suffering from bad breath for the past 5-6 years. This problem breaks my life apart.

I'll try to describe myself but must appologize for my english first. It's not my native language. Forgive my horrific grammar! =)

I'll try to keep it as short as possible.

My bad breath is coupled with very intensive sweating all over my body, escpecially my armpits and face. Post nasal drip, dry skin (elbows).

My tongue is cleen, but if I skip brushing it, it tends to get a white coating on the back side of it.

My bad breath and sweating is more intensive when i stress out, and I get to stress out often since I'm very paranoidal about my breath in public places.

I allways sleep on my sides, with my arm above my head, feets usually uncovered.

I'm not slim nor fat, athletic build. Blond hair, pale complexion.

I'm often swallowing mucus all the time (post nosal drip) but generally im a very healthy person.

I dont smoke, I dont drink alcohol apart from the casual beer once a week or two. I don't eat sweets at all, drink water (non carbonated), tea and herbs mainly. I overuse salt and avoid milk.

I prefare solid food, no deserts, candy bars, ice cream, snacks between meals etc.

My oral condition is excelent, I visit the dentist regulary.

My stool is loose most of the time for a long period now, and I tend to have lot of gases in the evenings..

I love eating eggs, scrumbled, boiled you name it.

My hair and fingernails seems ok, hair is perhaps a bit dry.

My libido is very low when i compare it to my male friends and my girlfriend.

I like to be alone, but I'm not shy and I often go out with my friends (and got a paranoia on my breath, chewing a bublegum all the time).

I'm very impatient and despotic, allways think I know everything the best. I hold grudges against other people, I often imagine how I'm punishing those that made me angry.

Than again, after some time i can just snap my fingers and forgive all of them, because I'm above all of them - you get my point..

My self esteem is very high.

I don't know what more could i write about myself.. Feel free to as any questions, I really hope you will manage to help me with my bad breath issue. It inflicts on my social life, my work, my intimate life. Bad breath occupies 60% of my thoughts DAILY.

I would trade almost anything to have a normal healthy breath..

PS. My bad breath comes from both my mouth and my nose it seems. Perhaps even more from my nose..

I've done an xray of my sinus and it seems ok.

I also like to add that beside the regular elementary school vaccination I didnt took any else, I avoid it like fire. Same goes for antibiotics, I cant even remember last time i took some.

Oh, and I never took any steroids, and I'm the only person in my familly that suffers from the dreadfull halitosis...

Please help me!

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
I would recommend cutting down on odourous foods - eggs, onions, anything with a strong odour.

Start eating more fibre - cereals, breads with low fat margarine, pasta (careful not to overcook as it turns to starch) Eat fresh fruit daily with apples/oranges/bananas to get an all-round vitamin fix.

Eat fresh vegetables, chew raw carrots, try to avoid fried food (particularily deep fried) Cut down on meat intake - to beginwith try to have 3-5 meat days and the rest try and eat vegetables only.

You dont eat sweets so this should not be a problem.

Obviously, brush daily, brush your tongue and use mouthwash. Try and chew sugar free gum after meals if possible.
