queloid in knee
Dear Drs.One year ago I had surgery in my left knee due to a problem with the kneecap.
My problem is a queloid formed in the scar (it is 2x15cm aprox.).
The queloid is violet with a bad feeling. Every body look at my knee. I have pain if I push with the finger over the scar.
Details:
- women, 1.65 height, 57Kgs weight, green eyes, brown hair altough white skin.
- no particular problems except in the past tendency to bronchitis.
- I dont like at all people see my queloid (for example during travels in bus).
- The skin of the scar appears as very think, fragile. The queloid has a little of volumen.
- I like sweets particularly chocolate.
- No other symptoms of interest. no other skin illnesses.
Is there any effective homeopathy treatment for my problem?

I have selected two photos of the queloid. The problem is that through this forum is not possible to send them due to the size (550Kbs each one). Is there any other medium of sending?
Two more interesting data:
- strong tendency to sweating in foots and hands.
- Several years ago I suffered from hypothyroidism very well controlled by medication. Nowadays I take no medication for this illness although I test my hormone levels once a year.

* Triiodine Tironine (SRM, C.masa) = 1.6, normal range [0.8-2]
* Tiroxina free of proteines = 1.25 range [0.93-1.7]
* Tirotropine (c.sust.arb) = 2090, range [270-4200]
The worst levels of hormones were in year 2004. Today is ok.
Details:

After seeing the photographs, I doubt whether homeopathy can really help you.
as it is it is difficult to treat Keloids with homeopathy, and in your case, it is extensive.
You have to contact a plastic surgeon, for any possible help.

Before resorting to surgery you can try Calendula ointment externally on the scar and try taking the remedy in 6x potency for a few weeks. Also Vit. E supplementation will help heal the scar.
