Is Nux Vomica an antidote to Petrolium?
I am taking petrolium for psoraisis but lately no change so was wondering if it is becuase of Nux Vomica which I have started taking for my sleep. wanted to know if nux is an antidote for petrolium? may be I sould stop nux then.please someone let me know what I should do.sultana on 2007-06-26

Nux.v is one of the well known antidotes to Petroleum.
Never use two medicines together, whether antidotal or not.
You should not take another medicine for minor problems while having treatment for a chronic problem.

Both of them are right at all.
In my opinion, if Petroleum is your indicated remedy for the psoriasis and you have sleep problems, it will be better to take PASSIFLORA 6x, three pellets before going bed.
If you prefer a complex, Boiron Labs has a product that is very fine: Passiflora composé (liquid), three drops every night at time going bed.

Thankyou very much to all of you,who replied to my query. I will follow your instructions. I will buy passiflora for sleep and continue with petrolium for my psoraisis. and if does not work will again ask for your advice :)
