renal stone
my mother had 12 mm and 7 mm renal stones. we have got it removed by lithotripsy. can any one plz let me know if there is any medicine as preventive for renal stone.plz reply

To stop the kidney stones once for all there's one natural way:
Using the vegetable stalk part of banana plant in dish helps in prevention of kidney stones. People who consume 'this vegetable casually in asian and african countries dont suffer from this ailment.
Homeopathically when a remedy 'Renalis calculi' in 200 potency(repeated only a few times) taken after the stones are gone helps as prophylaxis in stopping the stone formation.

I've given some information about this remedy below.
Calcarea Renalis.
Urate of Lime renal calculi. Also Phosphate of Lime renal calculi. Trituration.
Clinical.─Gout. Gravel. Joints, nodosities on. Renal calculi. Stone in bladder. Teeth, tartar on.
Characteristics.─H. Recorder (Aug., 1895) reprints a paper by Dr. Bredenoll, of Erwitte, in which he gives his experience with this remedy in his own case. Following a suppressed eruption he had among a host of other troubles renal colic of great intensity, with passage of uric acid calculi. One of these was triturated in the proportion of 5 parts to 95 of sugar of milk, and of this he took 1/2 grain doses for a considerable time, with the result that the formation of calculi ceased, the tartar which had formed on the teeth dropped off, and a nodosity of stony hardness disappeared from the extensor tendon of the right middle finger.

Lapis renalis - arthritic nodosities. Riggs disease; lessens tendency to accumulation of tartar on teeth; gravel and renal calculi.

Other names of this remedy: Lapis renales Nosode, Nephrolithinum Nosode, Urate of Lime, Lapidus renalis, Calcarea renalis praeparata, Renalis calculi.
It's an old remedy that belongs to clinical proving category and that's less widely used today. When stones are present lower dilutions like 3x will help expel stones and for prophylaxis it may be used in higher potency as its a nosode.
