The ABC Homeopathy Forum

Bipolar disease ,type II Page 2 of 2

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
It is better to leave it to someone who does know what to look for because its rare that we can see the remedy required at the time. Our mental/emotional outlook changes with remedies, right or wrong. An acute disease is 'whatever is doing the rounds' Flu, food poisoning, Mumps, ect. Your symptoms are a result of your constitutional makeup , as such are not 'acute' in the Hpathic sense.
200c potencies can be quite high in a constitutional sense but low in an acute situation. This is assessed by the practitioners experience whether to give high or low potencies, dependent on the patients vitality, which could be strong or weak.
The difficulty you face is trying to find a good one,not all Homeopaths are on the same level or practice the same way.
Find one that practices 'one remedy at a time, wait and see the result' and takes a full case. This could take more than a couple of hours for the first consultation and could be expensive but if the results you want happen, why count the cost. Best wishes.

Dear Meg

I do have exactly the same opinion as that of Parachute.

You have to shop for your homeopath very carefully. It is going to be the most important decision in your life.

If you are located near CA (USA), your best bet will be Dr.LUC. He is expensive though. Charges around 700 U.S.Dollars for the first consultation.

Meg007,

Suggested medicine was good.

It looks to be a case of overdose.

There must be some changes towards betterment by now.

Anyway what is the condition now?

it is hard to say as I am probably experiencing the side effects of wearing off one of my antidepressant (dizziness, sleeping problems, GI prob. etc). The positive is that I finally got period. My general condition, however, is not well (above+ stressful situations at work now). Many factors affecting me now.

Patient is slightly low B.P.
Needs some medicine.

On improving B.P., she may im prove.

Which place do you live?

Any history of T.B. in the family?

What is the family background ?

Rajendra last decade
I have no family history of TB, always have had lower BP (lower than today) because, as I have mentioned few times before, that is a side effect of medicines taken by my for years. Now I have been suffering from side effects of coming off one of them. I would be grateful if you could read my previous posts before asking me some questions which has not much to do with my present situation.I live in a civilized country in EU.Anyway , thank you for your comments. I feel very low at the moment.Meg

Hi faisal

Sorry for the intervention.

Rajendra was a bit intolerant of the delay in a few cases, I was dealing with, and I just wanted to tell him that even with well selected remedies it is not correct to expect cures in a hurry.

Chronic lingering cases need patience from the patient as well as the prescriber, and hurry will only spoil the matters.

My experience has been that even in Chronic cses, as soon as the right medicine is given, the patient has started feeling ofen within a few hours and sometimes in minutes.

I agree it may take time for full cure.

But the feeling in the patient is always there in minutes and hours that he/she is getting some reaction in the body and mind.

In case you have some other view I shall happy to read it.

Rajendra last decade
You are right Rajendra

The correct medicine will first of all make the patient sleep more peacefully, the mind becomes more calm.

But, it takes time for the physical complaints to yield.

The patients in general won't give much importance to the subtle changes they are having, won't notice them, concentrate only on their physical problem and say that they are no better, in the follow up interview.

So, it is important to ask specific questions on these aspects to the patients, and tell them in advance to look for changes in these aspects after giving the first dose.

no this would be a disaster. you cannot self-treat yourself for a chronic mental health problem.

please post your case separately if you want advice on which remedy to take.
