Prolapsed Vertebral Disc (Slipped Disc)
I found the below post athttp://www.homoeopathycure.com/treatment/Disc_Prolapsed.htm and I'm wondering the remedy that was meant in this post.
I read that cartilage can be repaired using homeopathic remedies. Is there any such remedies for ligament ? Anyone has any idea what this doctor is referring to ?

Prolapsed Vertebral Disc
It is the damage of the ligaments and nucleus pulposus of Spinal cord, so that protruding nucleus pulposus presses nerve roots causing severe radiating pains. Cause may be trauma or injury to ligaments.
Here, homeopathy works very fast compared to other systems. In Allopathy, we have pain killers but they have to be taken daily for a long period. They have many side- effects like hyperacidity and bone marrow suppression.
Treatment
Prolapsed vertebral disk, Operative procedures available are very costly and risky. They may cause paralysis of the affected body parts. So operations are accepted as last measures. They remove nucleus pulposus and fuse the vertebrae.
The same effect can be achieved with homeopathic medicine so pressure on nerves is relieved thereby relieving pain. In addition, homeopathic medicine acts on intervertebral ligaments as it stabilize spine also.
On average, the repair begin within 7 days of treatment and symptoms improve within 7-15 days. The repair completes by 2-3 months. It gives permanent cure. Success rate is above 85%. Medicines have no side effects.

Try Arsenum Album in lowest available potency, say 6c thrice a day for 2 weeks. When relief comes within a week, raise the potency gradually by diluting the 6c or take Arsenum Album 30 once a day till pain is totally gone.
In case Arsenum Album 6c is not obtainable, take 30C potency.
Also Symphytum Q twice a day, if you can buy it because Q potency is not available in USA etc. Otherwise just stay with Ars. Alb.

Here I would suggest HYPERICUM 30C three times a day for many days and one dose of ARNICA 200C once in the morning.
If the results are positive and the pain reduces in about 15 to 20 days, bring down the frequency to once a day.

y husband suffered from severe problem of slip disc around 3 months back . He was given some allopathic medicines and he improved within 6 or 7 days. But stillwhenever he plays basket ball in which he bends down swiftly or does some heavy work his back starts aching and with similar kind of pain. can any homeopathic remedy be taken to get relief from this problem permanently
I am writing as my husband again suffered from same problem of slip disc that is third time in almost 3 months. It is such an anguishing pain and I feel severly helpless. Consulting an orthopaedic surgeon, he diagnosed slip disc and he again recommended very strong painkillers :

Tramadol and Myoril-8, twice a day. Taking them is relieving for some time although overall condition improves very gradually. It has been almost 5 th day to day and he still has some problem. This time he was not even exerting. He bended just slightly and agin the problem started.
As guessed above my husband is not an athlete he plays basketball now and then with kids.
I am so much worried for him and I am a strong believer of homeopathy and sure that there must be some medicine in homeopathy that may treat the problem completely.
Someone please help me so that this problem may not recur to him any further.
He suffers from severe pain in middle of his back precisely at middle of backright above the hips and pain in his left leg which makes him limp while walking after recovering a bit. I said recovering a bit because ininitial condition he is not able to move at all. He is not able to make it to the toilet even. We have Indian style toilet and fears to go to the toilet as he is not able to stand up afterwards.

please give your husband the medicines in the following protocal seri.
1. Hypericum-30 (3 drops per dose thrice a day)
2. Calc. Flour -6x (4 tablets three/four times a day)
and report after 2 weeks.
Also advise him to avoid unncessary exercise.

I require your kind attention please.
My husband atrted with your prescription as above. But he took it just for 3-4 days and then didn't take it very seriously as found himselves perfectly fine. Since then whenever he started feeling pain he used to take one or two doses of hypericum and it always helped him to cure pain.
But he didn't start proper course of medicine. But since yesterday he started feeling pain again but even after taking 5 or 6 doses he is not able to recover.
I request you to please suggest me right course of medicine. I request you to do so as your suggested medicine helped him a lot.

Dear My brother, is an accountant of age 24 years now, he got disk prolapse L-5 disk in 2007 may, at that time he was adviced by doctor for surgery, but after some discussions we resist him for surgery, he used RHUX 1m and ARNICA 1m for 3 months homeopathy medicines, and halopathy pain killer . he seems fine, but some time he feels same pain. kindly suggest any good remedy for permenant remedy.

For prolapsed disc Please take Ruta30, Chininum Sulph 30 and Theridian 30 ( 3-4 drops each in spoonfull of wter three times a day).Rhus Tox 200 one dose daily. Also take Calc Flour 6x. 4 tbs four times a day. Report after 15 days. This is for permanent relief.
