Asthma for 2 1/2 yeras old.
Here i presenting my sons case. If homeopathy is really effective in treating Asthma then i would like go to India to get treatment.I live in U.S.A. But basically from India, Hyderabad.
Does homeopathy really effective. Please help me.
Some doctors are giving on line treatment. Is it o.k try online treatment on kids?
More detailed information would be much helpful.
My son son is 2 ½ years old now. His Asthma started when he was 16 months old.
He had a fever one day when he was 16 months old and coughing a lot. His doctor asked us to use nebulizer which did not help him. And he was hospitalized for 3 days and his Oxygen levels went down. He never had any Asthma symptoms before he had this severe attack. Doctors said it might be pneumonia or Asthma.
After that he was fine for a month. Then he started coughing in the nights sometimes form 2:00A.M to 3:00A.M and sometimes 4:00A.M to 5:00A.M and used to cough little in the day time. His pediatrician put him on Pulmicort (Inhaled steroids) for a month. Then we used Singulair( Montelukast) for 3 months. Then we swithched to inhaled steroids. We might used about 9 months inhaled steroids. In June he was not on inhaled steroids for about a week and he had cold and fever. And he had a big asthma attack. He had to take Oral steroids to survive. Then he is continuing to take Flovent (Inhaled steroids) twice a day.
I had a gestational Diabetes when I was pregnant. My son used have have Bowl movements every 4 to 5 days whaen he was one month old. He had a cradle cap when he was around two months old. Cradle cap went away by using medicated shampoos.
And he developed Ezcema after that. His Ezcema was npot that bad but on 5 or 6 little spots on the body. I was Hydrocortisone cream whenever it gets worse.
And when 16 months old he developed Asthma.
His allergist tested him and he is allergic to mold.
His allergist tested him and he is allergic to mold. He gets attacks when there is a weather change means when it rains suddenly. He gets attacks with fever and colds. But he does not cough at all and absolutely fine while taking steroids, even with the colds and weather changes too.
He does not eat well. He does not have any favourite foods except Chocolates. But whenever he eats chocolates he would cough.
Note: There is no cough while taking steroids twice a day. I noticed all these cough symptoms when he was not taking steroids.

Did you consider toxins in his environment? (I mean cleaning stuff etc)?

Very unfortunate situation.The steroids can't be stopped now, as that will aggravate the situation beyond control.
He has to be weaned away gradually after introduction of homeopathic medicines. It has to be done very cautiously.
See the way people jump in with prescriptions on whatever little they hear.!!

Thank you so much Murthy. i will contact that number you gave me. He is in California and i am in New Jersey. I will try to go there.
I will not take any on line treatment. Actually i am in search of good Homeopathy doctors in India too. Who ever is the best i want to go to them.
Just now i read about DR A.U. Ramakrishnan ,Chennai.
Any advises about good Homeopathy doctors in India. Especially in hyderabad. I really need very very good doctor. So that i think of whether to go to CA or India.

Dr.Ramakrishnan specialises in cancer cases.
You may have to go to CA once, to start with, and afterwards the consult can be on phone too.
If money is not the constraint, you won't get a better doctor than Dr.Luc.

Asthma is curable at all stages. It is not a killer disease but makes life uncomfortable. A competent homeopath not only prescribe for asthma but also for the person asthma with. As Murthy said it is better to see Dr Luc.He is well educated, experienced Homeopath. I hope you will avail the opportunity. Once it is cured, it will never return.

Thank you so much for your help. i am really very deppressed with my son's problem. I have checked Dr.Luc Fee structure. It is very high fee, but i can afford that.
In the past you mentioned Dr s. Praveen kumar and Pavuluri Krishna chowdari are good doctors in Hyderabad. Could you please advise me who should be my first choice and second and Third. I have no idea about all these doctors. I have no problem going to India or CA to get treatment. I just want my son to be in Good hangs and get rid of Asthma.

I am not a doctor. But, I studied homeopathy 8 hours a day, every day for the last five years, and am an admirer, follower and now an adviser.
I move in the right circles that matter in homeopathy, and that is how I get all this information.
If you can afford it, go along with Dr.Luc. The treatment is going to last a few months, and it is not wise to get disturbed from your family life for such a long stretch.
I am sure your son can become hale and healthy.

The lady who answered phone said he just opened his office in C.A yesterday. she said he does not treat colds and flu. But she will check with him about Asthma whether he treats or not.
I am just waiting for her call. Do you that he treats Asthma and anybody you know had good results.
I will amke a decision between Dr.Luc and Dr.Praveen. And i will surely let you.

Yes. He treats Asthma. I know him as a good world famous doctor. He must have treated some hundreds of Asthma cases, though I don't know any case personally.

I heard Homeopathy can aggravate problem. Since it is Asthma if it aggravates then he will end up in the Hospital with high dose of steroids adn steroidal injections which i definitely do not want.
Also in the process of curing Asthma any chances of that his Ezcema will come back up? He had mild Ezcema when he was 6 months old.
I am worried.

The eczema may come back briefly, but it too will get cured through homeopathy.
The return of Eczema is not a must.It may or may not happen.
The advanced methods in homeopathy, precludes the type of aggravation, you are mentioning.

If you are planning to move out to India, wait it out.
You have all sorts of prescribers/advisers here, ranging from beginners, mediocre, and good.
The lesser the use of the steroids, the better for your son in the long run.

I am just trying to choose best doctor first. Because my son's health is very high priority. And also i am not sure whether stay in U.S for long or in India.
I will decide Depending upon the your recommedation which doctor to choose.
