Help with Chronic nerve disorderHi, I'm 30 yrs old and I have been having series of problems for the past 10 months. It started in Dec 2006 with some kind of balance problem when I bent and stood straight. This was followed by tingling and numbness in my head. I went thru a full health checkup and the doctors found nothing wrong except for my EOS was a bit high. I also started having palpitation, Tremors, tingling in tongue, Anxiety. The tingling in head turned out to burning sensation and chillness then I started feeling tightness in my top portion of my head and some blockage in my throat. In the month of Apr 07, I took auyvedic treatment (14 days) since they felt it was nerve weakness. They did shirodhara and abhyangam after which I started having a totally different set of symptoms. After 3-4 days of finishing my face, hands and legs started feeling heavy, I was heat intolerant, My BP had dropped down to 90/60. The auyvedic doc told me that I was dehydrated after the treatment and advised me to take lot of fluids. Parellely I was diagonised for Low calcium by an endocrynologist. At this point I started getting dizziness meaning some kind of spacy feeling when I walked. In the end of May 07 I travelled to US from India and after the flight, I had body numbness, severe fatigue, weakness, heat intolerance, blurr vision, Lightheadedness, muscles spasms/cramps. I was not able to stand or walk for 5 mins. I could not strech or do yoga or exercise since streching made things worse in my calf muscles. I drank lots and lots of water and stopped taking calcium and Vit B12 supplements after which my lightheadedness went, Fatigue slowly dissapeared but I got into sleeplessness. I started walking for 20 mins a day and the muscle problem seemed to improve but again due to cold weather, my entire body got numb and sometimes I have onesided numbness which dissapears after some time. Now I have muscle weeakness and it happens in my entire body. Yesterday, I cud not walk properly and my left leg was aching in the night. I feel some kind of congestion in my chest and throat in the night Though I do not have any cold. I had a MRI done in the month of may and it did not show anything. But after coming to US, I was diagonised for Epstein barr virus and the count is too high. The doctor told me it was due to this and that I'm suffering from chronic fatigue syndrome.
