shingles pain
My wife 67 years has shingles for about 20 days. She was diagonised with famciclovir for a week. Now shingles are healing but she suffers from unbearable and crying pain. Brufen and acitaminophen , tylonol has no effect. Can any one help by suggesting any homeopathy medicine for pain relief.Since we are visitor to canada we cannot have docotor's prescription.bughi on 2007-09-13

Mr gavinmurthy-Hi sir ,I have read in a post of this forum that variolinum or hypercum are also good medicines for post shingles pain. The shingle blisters of my wife have now healed and she is taking tylenol 3 tab.for pain relief but very little effect. Some times she cries with pain which remain all the day and night .Besides she is taking medicine for highblood pressure . Will you please advise whether carboneum oxygenisatum will be the better choise or will you suggest some other medicine. Also whether she should continue to take allopathy medicines along homeopathy medicine. Please also advise the strength of medicine ie 6 C or 12 C and also how much to take.
