Ick in Dogs Ear

Golden Retriever suffers from constant ear ick. Discharge is dark brown and smells. SHes had antibiotic drops for this in the past (2 years ago), but it never seems to go away. Looking at her, her right ear is worse than left. I cannot modify her diet to a raw meat diet, not financially possible. Shes 10 years old and I dont know much about her history prior to her coming with us at age 7.

Thoughts on the ear discharge?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Hi, my greyhound was having the same problem along with greasy yet scaly, itchy skin. He has been eating a raw meat diet for the past 3 years so we were baffled. We couldn't figure out what was causing his issues. Even my holistic vet was stumped. I came across a product online called Nzymes. I don't know if it will work for your dog but it has been amazing for ours. He is so much happier and so are we. I try to tell everyone I know about this product because it works. Just google 'nzymes' to find the product. I was very skeptical at first but I was willing to try anything holistic. I cannot express how very glad I am that I tried this program. We have our loving happy greyhound back!! I don't have any affiliation with the company, I just think it is an amazing product. My vet tells all of her clients about it and she just told me of a pomeranian who has been 'cured' due to this product. Best wishes and I hope your dog gets better!

Hi
I really feel sorry for your dog and want to help-(although I wasn't supposed to take new cases now)-but please write a lot about the dog - what he likes to eat/do/etc shy?

and ears: itching? painful (pull gently the ear)? why/how did it start?

I wanted to know more to have a greater chance of choosing the right remedy.

But I think that LYCOPODIUM is perfect now- get lycopodium 6x (or 3c) pellets, and give him one dry dose.(just drop pellets into his clean empty bowl-do not take them in your hands

Wait/watch for 2 days and come here. (some have diarrhea etc so do not be alarmed)

Also it would be great if you could give him tissue salts BIOPLASMA by Hyland's
4-5 pellets 4x/day--we can get it here in health food store (usA)

You write nothing about cleaning his ears but it would be great if you could do it even once a week, and even with hydrogen peroxide (medicinal grade not cosmetic)only outer of course
