nat sulph and asthma
Hi JoeI went thru various posts on this forum and found you details of the starndard treatment that you suggested for curing asthma. However, a little clarification will help me and others get over some doubts.
1. I went thru various web sites giving information on asthma/bronchitis. Some pages indicated that asthma may occus/aggravate in wet/damp/high humidity conditions and others say that asthma occurs in dry weather with low humidity and can be got better by simply increasing the humidity. Which one is correct, or is both correct.
2. Reading about nat sulph it is understood that the remedy is useful for humid asthma. Is this remedy also useful for dry asthma,ie. asthma with dry mucous membranes and dry throat , consticting feeling in throat etc.
3. Will Natsulph cover asthma that is caused more due to food allergies or respiratory allergies with GERD/indigestion with concomitant symptoms. Is it useful to add Histaminium to control the allergy.
4. I gave my wife, who is th patient, your recommeded treatment and found that the condition aggravates but gets some releif with ars alb following nat sulph. What would be your recommendation.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Your observation regarding Nat.sulph helping certain types of Asthma only is correct.
It is not a panacea for all types of Asthma.

Some time ago, after reading about Nat Sulph 6C as a panacea for asthma on this forum, I tried it out - but was totally disappointed. The prescription of Ars Alb 200 along with Nat Sulph (instead of the inhaler) did give some relief. But again, this is not the remedy for any and every asthma case. In my case, the asthma was worse after midnight, and so I received some help from Ars Alb. But in case of any other person, it need not be the case.
[I may also add that the prescriber has hence switched over to Blatta Orientalis 6C as the new panacea after Nat Sulph failed to deliver in some cases.]
I then decided to go to a classical homeopath (one who follows the Hahnemannian principles and prescribes one remedy at a time only) and he is now peeling the layers one by one - I can feel the change in symptoms - as there had been a lot of allopathic suppression with inhalers and steroids. I must add that I am totally off inhalers, steroids and allopathic medicines now ! and there have been far reaching changes in my life due to the holistic nature of cure.
I came to the conclusion that there are no miracle remedies in homeopathy - (such as one remedy for asthma, one for hypertension, one for eczema etc); also, none of these so called protocols of treatment actually take you anywhere near a CURE. Only personalized homeopathic treatment based on your very own symptoms gives excellent results of a holistic nature. I hope this information helps.
