Calcium Carbonicum Hahnemanni

Hi,
I used the self diagnosis software and found out that Calcarea Carbonicum is best suited for me.
The drug store keeper sold me the above medicine informing me that its one and the same.
Unfortunately he only had the 200 potency.

My questions

1.Are Calcarea Carbnicum and Calcium Carbonicum the same?

2.How many drops of this 200 potency should I take and how many times in a day or week and maximum for how many day?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Ans:

1. Yes one and the same remedy.

2. You can take it 3 drops per dos once a day or one dose after 4 days.

But for what purpose you would like to take it.

Thank you for answering my queries.

Just a brief introduction.
I am 38years old male.
Married with two kids.

Weight is 95Kgs. Large Belly.
Increased appetite.
Desk job with high level stress. (handling customer complaints : customers having very high expectations).
Forgetful.
Attention span limited as many things happening at same time.(Negotiating with angry walkin customers, same time replying to queries on email, answering phone calls, listening to problems of colleagues etc etc etc.
Easily exhausted from mild exertion.
Sweat uncontrolably while eating dinner outdoors.
Post nasal drip. Sinus infection (due to flesh of nose growth as well as cartilage of nose).
Sometimes wheezing but not asthamatic.
Warts on neck and armpit.

Calcarea Carb came closest to my symptoms. However I am open to your valuable suggestions.

Thank you Dr. Rehman.

I will try Nux V 200 (its in my medicine cupboard) and report to you after a week.

In the mean time should I stop taking Calc.

If yes then should there be a gap between the two and how long.

Thanks

sweating during eating is a peculiar symptom of NAT MUR.

if CALC doesnt produce results, maybe you can try NATMUR.

Dr. Rehman,
I tried Nux for 05days as per your recommendation.
I can not say that there is any difference in my general condition except for two things which I have noticed.
1. Ache in lower part of abdomen at morning. Twice skipped breakfast which is unusal for me. Same time felt Nauseatic but this went away by noon.
2. Appetite increased further after noon. Meaning I was eating and eating but still felt hungry. I have a big appetite but felt that it became much more even for my standard. One day I had dinner at home but the craving did not go away therefore 10 minutes later went out and had a quater chicken broast. Even after finishing it I was hungry but feeling of guilt stopped me from having a second.

I have now stopped taking Nux for the last 4days.

My number one problem which I think will solve most of my other problems is execss weight of around 20Kgs. Which is mostly concentrated towards belly (40inches)and hips.

Please advise.
Thanks

Dear Dr. Mahfooz,
On your recommendation I have taken Nux V 200 for a little over 2 weeks.
Have not noticed any kind of difference in my condition what so ever.
Appetite is still big.
Weight has also not decreased.
Easily exhausted from mild exertion.
Still sweat during and after eating.
Cattrah and Post nasal drip with lots of sneezing.

Please advise.
Thanks

P.S In an earlier Post on this Forum I had a problem of ED for which I had given the following symptoms for self. They are quoted for your info.

QUOTE
am 37years old. Married with two kids. Have been having incomplete erections for several months. Also unable to maintain an erection long enough to please my wife. Sexual desire is normal.

Tried Panax Ginseng 30c 10drops thrice a day and they worked well for several weeks but problem came back afterwards.
Height 5' 10' overweight by 20kgs.
Excessive hunger. Not much intrested in snacks or sugary stuff but only for main course. Love Eggs, Butter, chicken, meat, fish, cheese etc. Can eat long after stomach is full. Therefore stomach is always bloated. Willing to take any medication to curb my hunger. Tried Phytollaca Berry / Fucos V for more then two months. But no luck. Also tried Natrum phos but nothing.
Stool is slightly loose which is alright with me as I would hate to be constipated with a bloated tummy.
Tried low carb diet which helped me loose 5Kg of weight in two weeks. But had to stop as did not have much choice of food.
Very stressful desk job. Hardly get time to walk, excersies.
Get less then 6hours of sleep due to which am stressed out at about 6pm therefore need to take a small nap of half to one hour otherwise totaly exhausted.
Feel lazy, lethargic.
Sensitive to criticism.
Both parents diabetic. Father also has heart problem and PD. Both live with me and I consider myself very fortunate to take care of them in their old age.
No time for partying or socialising. Therefore only entertainment is TV and food.
Recently soles of feet have started tingling.

You have to first deal with the warts in the arm pit....that calls for a miasmic remedy.

Only then other meds will show any appreciable result.

Calcarea Carb could be one of them....but Thuja more likely.

Send me the link to the Remedy finder...wud like to see the Remedy Grid answers.

Warts are very common as age advances, and the prescription can't be made based on that alone.

A complete case is needed to arrive at the probable remedy.

That is why the need for the link to the Remedy Finder !! Silly !!

Murthy,
If that is your level of understanding of Homeopathy then 'God save you !' and those who go by your guidance.

Happy New Year.

The remedy suggestion is already made. I know these tricks.

We make up our mind on a particular medicine and start to ask leading questions to satisfy ourselves that we did a great job in selecting the appropriate remedy.

If we really want to do a proper case waiting, we should wait for the details before blurting out a remedy name.

Read as 'case taking'

Murthy

gavinimurthy last decade
Absolutely NO !!

There are many times, after the case taking I end up suggesting a different med.

You have no time to see the quality work being done here at this site.

You are again trying to mislead patients. Back to your antics.

Then avoid suggesting anything before you take the full case. What is the hurry?

Murthy,
Nothing binds me to follow your style....and I know that my style gets me good results from which the patients benefit......so don't make cheap remarks to confuse the patients....or to gain popularity for your own self.

First learm more about homeopathy.....and its variations.

Dear Pankaj

It is not a question of style.

It is about making people understand what is homeopathy and what is not.

I will not leave any opportunity to tell what is 'proper' homeopathy.

Dear Doctors,
I took a single dose daily of Nux Vomica 200 for two weeks but did not feel any difference except an increase in my appetite.

Two symptoms that I forgot to mention earlier are as follows:
1. I feel I have ADHD because of which I tend to leave important things for later or the last moment. You will see that my last post is dated 2 jan.
2. I have dark circle under my eyes.
3. Almost always feeling tired.
Hope you will be able to guide me.

P.S Doctors / Friends one request : please dont get stuck in arguments between each other. This discourages people who are new to Homeopathy. I know you all mean well. Thanks
