Getting rid of dental plaque(pet)

I have an elderly cat who has some buildup of plaque on several back teeth, also with some tartar. Because of her age and anesthesia concerns, getting her teeth cleaned is not an option. Is there something that can be given, either tapped into the mouth that could come in contact with the teeth or taken internally that will dissolve the tartar/plaque over a period of time? There is also some gingivitis starting because of the plaque. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
fragaria Vesca is used for softening and removing tartar and dental plaque off teeth. Use for all ages and don't forget your pets. Pets can suffer from plaque build up and regular use of fragaria Vesca can help.
Can use for pets and other animals by putting 3 pellets in water dish or in food.

Thank you for your reply. Can these pellets be crushed and tapped into the mouth? Two pellets? Once a day? If added to the water bowl, does that mean three pellets dissolved in about two cups of water and this is done daily? Do they help for gingivitis? Sorry for all the questions but I'm really new to homeopathics and would like to do everything correctly.Thank you for any further clarification.
