Mucus in larynx

My daughter is 1 year old, since one week she has a lot of mucus in windpipe, specially in larynx and in top of chest. When she breaths she makes noise like a rattle and she gurgles. She does not suffocate but makes a lot of noice. She has no fever and no cough.Since 2 days I give her Antimonium Tartaricum 9C one dose every 2 hours but no effect at the moment. Now I have stopped giving her. Should I go on giving her, or should I try another remedy?Wich one/dose?Anybody can give me some help?

There are medicines for each stage.

Ant.tart is for the stage when the chest is full of mucus and there is a total inability to expel it. It won't help if the problem is less severe.

Kali bich is the medicine to be tried in these cases. Try in 200c potency, twice a day. Mix two pellets in about 10ml. of water and give as a dose.

Stop after giving a maximum of six doses and report back.

Kali bich 200c?The remedy is for a child, are you sure it's safe for she, Murthy?I'm afraid she could have an excessive reaction with so higher potency.
Thanks

Childern can bear the higher potencies well, as their vitality will be the highest.

If you are sure of the remedy, you can go even higher in case of childern.

Any way, if you hesitate to use a 200c, go for 30c. However, if the result is not satisfactory you may have to try in 200c.

In India 200c and 1Ms are routinely given to childern.

Ok Murthy, here in Spain is not so usual to give so high potencies to children. If you are sure Kali bich is the best remedy I'll try it, but could be Alumina as well?If I try 30c, must I follow same guideline as 200c, don't you?
What could happen if 200c is too high for my daughter, how do I know I have to stop giving her the remedy?
Thanks again, I'll report you back.

I don't think Alumina is indicated in this case.

I don't want to force you to use a 200c. I can understand your inhibitions as you say that it is rarely prescribed in Spain.

Try Kali bich 30c first.Let us see the response.

Use the 30c in the same way as I suggested earlier. Maximum six doses in water.

If finally I decide to try 200c, what could her happen? I mean, if 200c is too much for her, how I note this?
Thans for your understanding

I am sure nothing adverse will happen even if you use 200c.

A higher potency than required may cause a brief aggaravation of existing symptoms, and they will subside quickly if you don't dose further.

Other than that there is no danger whatsoever.

Hi Murthy,

thanks a lot for your advise. As always homeopathy is almost magic. I decided 200c, she had a little agravation, in form of high fever, but she hardly has mucus).
I post a new topic in forum because yesterday she was worse and we must go to hospital. Please read it, I hope you find a remedy for my daugther.
If any question, please ask.

Thanks a lot
