What remedy should I use for an abcess on my gum. The gum has receeded back from the tooth and this is the second time it has become infected.

Another medicine for such condition is CARBO VEG. specially when the gum recedes from the tooth.

Supplement with CALCAREA FLOURICA 6X ...four tabs four times a day.(Bio-chemic).For all such conditions.

About 8 months ago i started with toothache in my lower molar,i visited my dentist and he told me there was nothing wrong with the toothe, but there was an abcess underneathe it.after two days of severe pain i eventually visited my doctors and he prescribed a course of antibiotics which didnt work, i returned only for him to prescribe another course (of which i mustn"t drink on)which also didnt work. That was may 2003.Ever since then there has been a lump that comes up,and when i pop it deep yellow puss comes out for ages, then it calms down for a couple of days, but then the whole process starts again. This has been going on since may.I would like to know how to get rid of this critter, and would also like to know if this type of abcess is dangerous.

I had similar gum problems before I knew I was way too low on B12...after I started having a lot of regular B12 shots, my gums stopped bleeding and the constant infections went away...

I have a web page about how to recognize low B12 problems from how your fingernails look...

Hi, Salt water can relieve the infection and oil of clove is known to reduce the pain. But if you are having infections which is what I think abcesses are, you may seriously want to look at my web page about how to recognize if you are low on B12. I say this because I used to be on antibiotics almost all the time to stop infections BEFORE I began getting B12. Methylcobalamin in the sublingual form is supposed to be as effective as shots. My web page is www.health-boundaries-bite.com/New_Folder/Fingernails.html

VITAMIN C!!!!!!!!!!!!! If your gums bleed you are deficient in this vitamin--500mg. three times a day with meals!! Myrhh is good for sores in the mouth! best to you--LoveMyDog PS--abcess should be drained by a dentist--coud be very dangerous left untreated--could poison blood stream! All the Best--LoveMyDog

I am so glad that LoveMyDog wrote! It turns out that I had a abcess (I think) in that my gum was very swollen around an implant. I was worried about what I'd written because the pain became intense and I worried that infection might travel around the body in the way that LoveMyDog wrote. But, here's what happened: I was able to unscrew the peg part of the implant, which allowed the salt water to go into the hole. I soaked my mouth in strong, hot to warm salt water for two hours one day, and two hours the next, and the swelling and pain went away. I don't know what to think about the underlying bone... and after the four hours of salt water I got some sore spots in my mouth, but they were fine in comparison to the swelling and pain from it -- that pain was so intense it made my eyes tear. I think maybe you had better see a dentist if you try salt water and it doesn't go away... Because you don't want to take chances.

Gabituca, don't you think it woul be a nice idea to QUOTE A SOURCE of the information you blessed us with?
Why don't you just take this book with a green cover and simply type the name of the author? You don't have to quote all the details including the year of publishing, but be fair towards the author: you have copied word-to-word someone's ideas and haven't haven't even mentionesd his name!

Eviee,

if you want to check more in my profile , you will see that usually I put the source in my messages.I use a lot this site www.drlockie.com because I think is very good. If I forgot to put the source in this message doesnt mean that I am not fair or I want to steal informations. I am not a homeopath but I am interested in this. Because of that I dont give advice to someone without reading first, and if I did this I just wanted to help....

I was diagnosed with advanced gum disease two 1/2 years ago. I am happy to say that I am now almost disease free. I have found my constitutional remedy which I am sure has helped. The biggest factor has been flossing my gums with the best honey I could get. Jarrah honey is fabulous. The honey has to be pushed down deep into the gum pockets. The honey keeps the bacteria out and is healing at the same time. It really works. Most of my pockets have completely closed up. I also cut out all processed foods from my diet and started taking vitamin c daily.
