Body Jewelry and Silica
Good Evening --I wanted to know if there can be any complications with taking silica and having body jewelry and tattoos since it rids the body of foreign objects.
I want to try something to help detox my body from impurities and I thought silica would be good for that.
I'm 22 years old and breastfeeding my 8 month old child. Body has excess fluid and it is very hard for me to loose weight yet very easy to gain. I gained over 80 pounds during my pregnancy and have only lost 20.

Hepar Sulph, Silica, etc. will defnitely cause suppuration and expunge foreign objects.

Silicea, like all Homoeopathic remedies is prescribed only on very specific indications, and after a thorough and full case taking, it is not simply something to take for 'detoxification'.
You should also be very aware that the effects of any remedies taken by you, will be passed onto your child whilst breastfeeding, and this could result in complications for your baby, where these remedies are not indicated to begin with.
As for you initial question regarding body jewelery and the use of Silicea though, I have never seen any interactions. Silicea acts mostly upon foreign objects which are deeply embedded within the body, setting up the proper process of inflamation and expulsion, where this has not occured naturally.
