The Explanation; why people get sick. Why we get sick? Why my child is sick! Why this has to happen to me?

The Explanation; why people get sick.
Why we get sick? Why my child is sick! Why this has to happen to me?

Questions, questions and more questions, even though the complete answer lies right within us and this I will clarify. The twenty-first century has brought until now lots of new and exiting innovations to every field of our society. Healthcare is improving, i.e., sophisticated X-ray machines, scanners, chemo radiation canons, better parking facilities, improved access, healthier rooms and restrooms, visiting hours and more of this, doctors and specialists continue to make long hours, and still the list of patients is growing everywhere.
And yet, Life has given us everything, a complete body with which we can see, feel, hear, and eat; nothing is forgotten or left out, in ALL THERE IS.

Until now we continue to run around in circles wondering were we really are, though this time when you have finished reading this, you will have tools to correct your life and start living in the right direction.

Remember this,

“The most powerful force in the universe is Thought and without exception every human being has the ability to learn to Think correctly, the power of forgiveness is the key to resolve any suffering into well-being, health, strength, power, perfect peace, balance and abundance”.

All it needs from you is learning to get understanding.

All the storms of the emotional and physical world can be controlled by reason. The wish to change yourself draws you to read books that are good for the spirit. Maybe you’ll find yourself a teacher, and then the knowledge of ways to change yourself will come to you.

All evils in life as well as all good things life start with our parents. If they have the wisdom of life then your road is paved well, and in case they are ignorant you, without exceptions will suffer from it.

Reasons why we suffer are many but few. A disease, being unsuccessful is in itself nothing else but ignorance, the result is an accumulation of negative energy, caused by wrong thinking, and the result is Stress.
Maybe the concept o stress is not yet clear enough to everyone.
Stress is a condition of bodily tension, a defensive reaction against harmful or negative factors. Stress can enter because we don’t know how to handle or recognize it.

Stress is an invisible energetic connection with something negative.
Everything perceived as negative by the person is a stress to him.

Medicine considers stress from the physical point of view as illness or the invisible accumulation of energy culminating in physical disease. Both medical science and the patient himself usually interpret stress as the last emotional upset, the last link in the chain of stress accumulated over decades that finally results in illness. This, however, is a very limited concept of stress.
The three main stresses are; guilt, fear and anger.

We are born into the physical world to gather earthly wisdom.
Everything here is learning and the ways to learn are endless, and it starts with our parents.
“At the moment of fertilization the unborn life is clean, virgin, free from all, as it develops within the mother it starts to absorb and to collect data. Until the moment when it steps into life it has already gathered a vast amount of data, taste, smells, feelings, emotions, sounds and a lot more all of which is compressed within his subconscious mind. All of this leaves a mark on how we will develop. Our parents have influenced the unborn, and will continue to do so for some time.

A child comes to this world through his parents, and with a good reason. Parents are already adapted to the physical world and, as such are obliged to teach the child, so that he too can adapt properly, remaining true to himself in every situation in life. Then he won’t have to crash into walls on his way and learn by suffering alone. This is the law of nature and the parents who have failed to teach his child the ways of life before he turns eighteen, shall feel the effect!
The subject of parents is a particular tender one, as nobody wants his wounds ripped open. If someone has problems with his parents, nobody else has the right to interfere. But you want to be healthy, don’t you? By denying your problems you are accepting sickness.
The hard truth is that parents are the first to do violence to the child’s body and soul and, accordingly, are also the ones who have to bear the bitter consequences later. But parents whose favorite pastime is grumbling about their children have a difficult time admitting this.
Denying one’s mistakes, however, has never done anything to improve the situation.
Sometimes the problem may be so extreme in its nature that the person prefers to remain ill. There are parents who refuse to accept the concept of fetal stress as, despite lengthy explanations, they feel they are being blamed.

So
Thought comes first and is then confirmed by the spoken word. The role of the human mind is to keep watch over feelings and words. A word spoken in haste and without consideration may remain in the other person’s (child) heart and hurt him for years (sometimes forever). Such indiscretion may prove to be very hard to forgive. It is easy to hurt someone’s feelings but rid oneself of the hurt is much more difficult.

There is no fault, only the main cause, born out of misunderstanding.

Every illness has it roots in Stress.
The amount of accumulated stress (negative energy or power) determines the nature of the illness. For example, when a person is tired, he has to sleep. The largest amount of energy is gathered in sleep. If the period of sleep is abnormally long, a serious leak of energy can be suspected. If there has been no physical over-exertion, the reason lies in an accumulation of stress. Excessive amounts of stress cause insomnia, a state where physical tiredness is no longer experienced – in that event sleep will not bring relief so it is no use taking a sleeping pill. You have to release your stresses and the illness will disappear. You’ll do your body no good by finding the culprit and blaming him for the situation – that is self-deception.

Each body has its own demand. Not every body can be trained to be a racehorse and not every racehorse can be turned into a farm horse, and neither of them can be made into a circus animal.

Illness or physical “disease” is a state where negative energy has crossed the critical line and the whole system is out of balance. The body informs us of the situation so that we can do something to correct it. Our body has tried to send us signals of discomfort for a considerable while but we had just neither paid attention nor taken action, so the body falls ill. Mental anguish, when not taken into consideration, grows into physical pain. It draws our attention to the situation that has to be mended. Suppressing the signal of pain with analgesics only deepens the pathology. The disease has to grow in order for the person to notice the alarm signal.
Mental agony accumulates until the last drop falls, the cup is full, and physical illness makes its appearance.
The more stress is accumulated, the more serious the disease.

If the disease is not serious, we can burn up the accumulated negative energies in the process of ailing. In the case of chronic disorders the burning goes on continually, while new stress keeps flowing in, preventing the person from getting well, but all in all, sickness is still a lesson to give us greater wisdom. We are free to choose the way we learn, so that if I prefer to learn through suffering and illness, like the majority of mankind at the moment seems to, it’s my choice, and should I prefer to learn through teaching, by making it sing in my heart and using it with wisdom, it is still my choice. People often say, “That’s just not true, I don’t want to be sick”.
I believe them but they have to make their body believe it too. Let the sickness go, then your body will see that you really mean it.
How often people say to me, “What’s there to be happy about? I would rather have my health like I used to – then I would be happy.” As long as you continue to think this way, it will be very difficult to help you.

Love is the absolute and greatest power there is, but still few people know how to love.

Consider how you would feel if somebody told you, “I love you. I just do. I demand nothing. You can always count on me.”

Or imagine someone telling you, “I love you. Why can’t you love me the way I love you. Prove to me that you love me. If you loved me, you’d do anything for me.” Endless words, demanding, controlling, driving you into a corner.

The first version seems like something out of a fairy tale, but there is much more of this kind of love around than we would even dare to think.
Imagine that you have someone very dear to your heart, someone you love above all others in the world, and he loves you too. This somebody – the dearest, most precious – is your body.
Think back to the many times you have directly or indirectly caused harm to it during your lifetime, the frequent occasions when you have senselessly driven it to the limit, sacrificed it, gritting your teeth in anger and playing the martyr. You have treated it worse than a machine. It has been like a possession to you, like something with no rights of its own.

Is it still able to love you?

The primary component of life is:
Correct thinking, followed by correct breathing, correct nutrition and suitable exercise.

If the person thinks right everything else will follow naturally. Everything has its polarity or duality, i.e. it has two sides to it. This is also true of thinking – one side is logical or rational, the other, the intuitive side, is to do with feelings. These two have to be in a fifty-fifty balance, backing each other up when need and circumstances arise.

And how does it work???

Why it is thinking, because,

Every thought, event brings into action certain physical tissue, parts of the brain, nerve or muscle. Every situation good or bad will leave certain imprints in our Mind. This produces an actual physical change in the construction of the tissue. Therefore it is only necessary to have a certain number of thoughts on a given subject or event in order to bring about a complete change in physical organization of the body, if we don’t learn to recognize it then surely it will have severe consequences.

The operations of the mind are produced by two parallel modes of activity, the one conscious, and the other subconscious. The subconscious’ logical processes are carried on with a certainty and regularity which would be impossible if there exists the possibility of error.
Our mind is so designed that it prepares for us the most important fundamentals of cognition, whilst we have not the slightest idea of the modus operandi.

We are all aware how dependent we are upon the subconscious mind, and the greater, nobler, the more brilliant our thoughts are, the more it is obvious to ourselves that the origin lies beyond our understanding.
The value of the subconscious is enormous; it inspires us, it warns us, it furnishes us with names, facts and scenes from our memory. It directs our thoughts, feelings emotions, taste and smells and accomplishes tasks so intricate, that no conscious mind, even if it had the power, is does not have the capacity for it.

We can walk and talk at will; we can raise our arm whenever we choose to do so; we can give our attention through eye or ear to any subject/pleasure. On the other hand, we can not stop our heartbeats, or the circulation of blood, or the growth of physique, nor the formation of nerve and muscle tissue, nor the building of bones, nor many other vital processes.
If we compare these two sets of action, the one degreed by the will of the moment, and the other proceeding in majestic, rhythmic course, subject to no indecisiveness but constant at every moment, we stand in the fear of the latter, and ask to have the mystery explained. We see at once that these are the vital processes of our physical life, and we can not avoid the interference that these all-important functions are designedly withdraw from the domain of our outward will with its variations and transitions, and placed under the direction of a permanent power within us.

Of these two powers, the outward and changeable has been termed the “Conscious mind” or the “Objective mind” (dealing with the outside world). The interior power is called the
“Subconscious mind’ or the “Subjective mind” and besides it works on the mental plane, it controls the regular functions which make physical life possible.

It is necessary for you to have a clear understanding of their respective functions on the mental plane, as well as certain other basic principles. Perceiving and operating through the five physical senses, the conscious mind deals with the impressions and objects of the outward life.
It has the faculty of discrimination, carrying with it the responsibility of choice. It has the power of reasoning – whether inductive or deductive, analytical, or syllogistic – and this power may be developed to a high degree. It is the seat of the Will with all that flow there-from.

Not only can it impress other minds, but it can direct the subconscious mind. In this way the conscious mind becomes the responsible ruler/teacher and guardian of the subconscious mind. It is this high function which can completely reverse conditions in your life, it can cure you.

It is often true that conditions of Guilt, Fear, Anger, Worry, Poverty, Lack of Love, disease, in-harmony, and evils of all kind together with our own ignorance, will dominate us to; poor reason, false conclusions, stress, ill health and suggestion. All of this can be prevented. We can teach and learn our conscious mind the right way to THINK, and so it will do by its watchful protective action. It may be properly called

“The watchman of correct Thinking and Forgiving.”

Orthodox medicine deals with the physical symptom or in other words – the result. Treatment is eliminating the result. The noble aim – prevention – is bound to remain a dream as long as the physician is unable to see the world and the patient as a whole, in their indivisible oneness. Everyone is acquainted with the high standard of western medicine and one just has to wonder why there’s no real progress.
The subconscious mind draws just and accurate conclusions from premises furnished from outside sources. Where the premise is true, the subconscious mind reaches a faultless conclusion, but, where the premise or suggestion is an error, the whole structure (body) falls. The subconscious mind does not engage in the process of proving. It relies upon the conscious mind, “the watchman” to guard it from mistaken impressions or conclusions.

Receiving of any event as true, your subconscious mind at once proceeds to act thereon in the whole and vast domain of your entire being, the conscious mind can suggest either truth or error. If the latter, it is at the cost of a wide-reaching hazard to the whole being.

The conscious mind ought to be taught correctly and on duty every waking hour.
Your subconscious mind perceives by instinct. Hence, its processes are rapid. It does not wait for the slow methods of the conscious reasoning. In reality it can not harbor them.

Your subconscious mind never sleeps, never rests, any more than does your heart, or your blood. It has been found that by plainly stating to the subconscious mind certain specific things to be accomplished, forces are set in operation that lead to the result desired. Here, then, is a source of power which places us in touch with Omnipotence. This is a truth, a deep principle which is well worth an earnest and careful study.

When the conscious mind (The watchman) is ignorant or ”off guard” or when its calm judgment is suspended, under a variety of circumstances, then the subconscious mind is unguarded and left open to suggestion from all sources.
During the wild excitement of panic, or during the height of anger, or the impulses of the irresponsible people, or at any other time of unrestrained passion, then the conditions are most dangerous. The subconscious mind is then open to the suggestion of Guilt, Fear, Anger, Hatred, Selfishness, Envy, Jealousy, Greed, Self depreciation, any many other negative forces (stresses) derived from surrounding persons or circumstances.

The result is usually imbalance, unwholesome in the extreme, with effects that may endure to distress it for a long time.

For this reason, it is of paramount importance to safe Guard the subconscious mind from false or negative impressions/energies, at all times.

It is hard to get a person, wrapped up in his material concerns, to think, even before he has finished this explanation, I hear familiar words, “No-no-no my troubles are caused by nothing like that!” it makes me smile a little because a person like that is ready to deny anything, even the good things, without even bothering to think. He is so wrapped up in negativity that he automatically starts fighting back over everything.
In today’s world it often seems unbelievable to a practically-minded person that it would be possible to accomplish anything more than a noble gesture by forgiving. It is hard to comprehend something that you can’t see. Even healers seem reluctant to accept this. Healing with hands is at least visible – so it has to work. This sort of healing is just the beginning, though. But the person whose spirit is opening up and who is yearning to do some good believes, and his action is rewarded by good health, well-being and success.

I know how insulted some people feel when they are asked to read through a short article written by me, called “Forgiveness, Love, Health” while waiting in the waiting-room. There’s really nothing to talk about before the patient has got some basic knowledge. Taken logically, it shouldn’t be so hard, if the patient knows how to read: then the time in my office can be spent discussing the patient’s own story. Curiously enough, some people get quite incited at this request.

The people who regularly buy sedatives at a drugstore are usually either angry or frightened. It is quite natural that an angry individual can’t get well – he needs to be vicious. But those who get some good out of my teaching I’m forwarding, those who get well – they know that positive energy is the thing in life that nourishes the spirit and gives strength to move on.

Physical science has resolved matter into molecules, molecules into atoms, atoms into energy, and now it will resolve this energy into the mind, and it its ultimate essence, energy may be incomprehensible by us to except as an exhibition of the direct operation of that which we call Mind or Will.

Nature’s most powerful forces, in the mineral world everything is solid and fixed. In the animal and vegetable kingdom it is in a state of flux, forever changing, always being created and re-created. In the atmosphere we find heat, light and energy. Each realm becomes finer and more spiritual as we pass from the visible to the invisible, from feelings to emotions and thoughts, from the low potentiality to high potentiality. When we reach the invisible we find energy in its purest and most volatile state.

And as the most powerful forces of Nature are the invisible forces, so we find that the most powerful forces of man are his invisible forces, his spiritual force, and the only way in which the Spiritual force can manifest is through the process of THINKING. Thinking is the first important activity which the spirit possesses; the second most important activity is that the Spirit is collecting Every Thing that has been learned in Life, and so thought is the only product of Thinking.

Mind is creative, and conditions, environment and all experiences in life are the result of our habitual or predominant mental attitude. The attitude of mind unavoidably depends on what we think. Therefore, the secret of all power, all achievement, and all possession depends on our method of thinking.
This is true because we must “BE” before we can “DO,” and we can “DO” only to the extent which we “ARE,” and what we “ARE,” depends on what we “THINK”

We are related to the world without by our objective mind. The brain is the organ of this mind and the cerebra-spinal system of nerves puts us in conscious communication with every part of the body. This system of nerves responds to every sensation (good or bad), of light, heat, odor, sound and taste.
When the mind thinks correctly, when it understands the truth, when the thoughts are sent through the cerebra-spinal nervous system to the body and they are constructive, then these sensations are pleasant and harmonious.
The result is that we build strength, vitality and all constructive forces into our body, but it is through this same objective mind that all distress, sickness, lack, limitation and every form of discord and in-harmony is admitted to our lives. It is therefore through the objective mind, by wrong thinking, that we are related to all destructive forces.
The subconscious mind cannot argue controversially. Hence, if it has accepted wrong suggestions, the only method of overcoming them is by the use of something that is naturally strong and called FORGIVING, this counter measurement frequently repeated which the mind has to learn and to accept, will eventually cure or form new and healthy habits of thought and life, for the subconscious mind is the seat of Habit. That which we do over and over becomes mechanical; it is no longer an act of judgment, but has worn its deep groves in the subconscious mind.

This is favorable for us if the habit (the learning of correct thinking) be wholesome and correct. If it be incorrect or harmful and wrong, the remedy is to recognize the omnipotence of the subconscious mind and suggest present actual freedom (Forgiving.)
The subconscious mind, being creative and one with our divine source will immediately start to correct, cure the desire, and gives freedom of mind.

To sum up:
The normal functions of the subconscious mind on the physical side have to do with the regular and vital processes, with the preservation of life and the restoration of health; with the care of offspring, which includes an instinctive desire to preserve all life and improve conditions generally.

On the mental side, it is the storehouse of memory; it harbors the wonderful thought messengers, who work unhampered by time or space; it is the fountain of the practical initiative and constructive forces of life: it is the seat of habit.

On the spiritual side, it is the source of ideals, of aspiration, of imagination, and is the channel through which we recognize our Divine Source, and in proportion as we learn to recognize this Divinity do we come into an understanding of the real powers that we posses.

Denial is the privilege of the ignorant.

Think about Guilt, Fear and Anger these are the three main Stresses, or forces of negative energy

Your happiness is my happiness. My love is with you. When you are reading this know that I am speaking to you, personally. What ever is wrong in your life, you can correct it, you have the power to do it, and the only person you need is yourself.

I repeat over and over again: man was given a brain for a reason, not for decoration. Think about what is said here and draw your own conclusions. Forgive your stresses – it isn’t necessary to go chasing after whoever you think is the cause of your troubles, look inside.
Forgiveness is the key.

Thanks for this great read,
I am stunned by this!

Yes, I find it is extremely difficult to open up my inner being, I am person who has been hiding life’s difficulties at great cost, my children are not so open to me as I have wanted, my wife and I don’t really understand each other, and real talking is something of the past.
This explanation gives me inspiration to do something, it has opened my eyes. I’m not afraid anymore.

Thank you again Dr. Beek, are there more forum mails from you?

It is, however, through attention that you will finally be able to overcome obstacles of any kind that appear in your path onward and upward, and the only way to acquire this wonderful power is by practice -- practice makes perfect, in this as in anything else.

Dear Risky,
Fear is a powerful form of thought. It is a stress, negative Energy, It paralyzes the nerve centers connected to the controls of our kidneys, thus affecting the circulation of the blood.
This, in turn, paralyzes the muscular system, so that fear affects the entire being, body, brain and nerve, physical, mental, and muscular.

Hello Dr Breek,

This is the most wonderful article I have read. I wish I had read this a year ago so that I did not have to suffer all this time. I have realised what went wrong with me and my thinking. I think you are right in saying that we are ourselves responsible for correcting it and I have determined to do it from now on to make myself feel better :)

To an extent I would agree with some of the above. Those who keep themselves pure of mind and heart, and who indulge in pursuits of a purely productive nature are much more likely to live longer, disease free lives, but not doing so is not the cause of disease. The cause of disease is miasmatic predisposition, and unless this is treated, and no matter how good our intentions are, such negative traits will always win, because they are rooted in our genes, and it is only by treating this cause that we will be free of disaease.

Idealism is fine if it actually has some basis in reality.

Mr Organon last decade
Mr. Organon

I can share your point of view, however, It is thought that comes first and even you can not deny that. I believe that before we are born we are free of all nasty things, that our body is pure, but that the habits (bad habits) of our parents take shape and form when we are still in the womb of our mother, this is were our road of suffering starts. I could say that if my parents had the ability to think correctly, I certainly would have less problems today. Dr.Beek is right when he says that 'stress is the cause of all illnesses' I can imagine that if my head is not able to respond to the wishes of my body, that I get sick.
Idealism wakes up every morning with me, we try to make the day as good as possible, I believe that is basis enough, because everyone will benifit from it.

Oh I don't deny that disease begins at the higher levels, although it is INSTINCT which actually comes first, not thought, this is then translated and formed into thought by our minds.

I agree, but this entire process is caused by their miasmatic influence, it is simple genetics, and your parents would have the ability to 'think correctly' if they were free from these influences.
Therefore no, it is miasmatic influence which is the cause of all illness, not 'stress', which is only a byproduct thereof.

As stated though, Idealism only has merit if it has some basis in reality, or can be formed into such, and most of the idealistic concepts which exist in the world, which have been around for millenia, like it or not, have had very little influence in changing the evolution of our species, or how it behaves as a whole, because it is incapable of changing such things while such influences still exist.

Good intentions are not enough if we are still a slave to our genetic predisposition, which will always win sooner or later, as it this which dictates our instinctual behaviour, and who we are, both as individuals, and as a species.

Mr Organon last decade
The 'Think purely, live naturally, and you will be free of disease and suffering' theory always looks good on paper, but it does not work in reality, at least not in the long term, as miasmatic influence will always win eventually.

Mr Organon last decade
Dear Organon,
instinct is something that has been learned in previous lives, instinct is sub-conscious, it is there to preserve life.

Our changing evolution is a process that with or without us continues.
good intentions are only good intentions if we put them into action, other then that it is only a nice word.
I start with myself, and that is my basis, that will work in the long term, because I want to do so, and I am not dictated by others - I am free.
thanks for your point of view, I hope you are not a by-product of miasmatic theories, which also had first to exist in thought and later put to work, remember what Mr. Kent said in his lectures 'illness is the result of wrong thinking'
R

R.Machia last decade
This is of course only a belief, not a fact. You are also assuming that miasmatic process does not affect the subconcious, which of course it does.

Ahh, then this is where we differ, as I do not 'think' evolution is a passive process.
I agree, and of course they have their place, but without actually changing behaviour patterns at the genetic level, the miasms remain our strongest 'guides', and will overide any good intentions at some point.

I see, and of course that is how such changes begin, with ourselves, but in my 'opinion' without the removal of miasmatic influence, in tandem with such 'personal growth', the latter will always fall to the wayside. On the contrary also, to some extent we are all 'dictated' to by others, as we are all predisposed to acquire miasms, despite any good intentions.

And thank you for yours, one cannot though be a 'by-product' of a theory, but yes, I am in part the product of my miasmatic inheritance, as we all are. Kent was a great man, and of course it was he who first opened the Homoeopathic world's eyes to the effects of Homoeopathic treatment at this 'higher level', but although I agree with many of his theories on this, he did only represent the beginning of such theories, in much the same way Hahnemann predominantly represented only the beginnings of Homoeopathy. Both of course have incredible value, but we are all limited by what is knmown to be factual at the time we present such things to the world, as well as by 'personal beliefs', which in Kent's case, in my opinion, greatly inhibited his ability to expand upon such theories further. We have evolved a lot since Kent's day, and so has Homoeopathy (as well as DEvolved in some areas), and it is my 'belief' that these 'wrongful thoughts' are in most cases a product of miasmatic influence, not the cause.

Mr Organon last decade
There is also some evidence in Kent's work that he too believed this, as there are many conflicts in his theories in this respect, which of course were at least in part due to his religious beliefs. I too have such conflicts, to an extent, but for now I have settled for that which seems to be most logical, and which the majority of the general populus seems to present hence 'in most cases'.

We are not all built the same though...
