Enlarged adenoids - Ag-nut

Hi,

My son is 4 years old and has enlarged tonsils and adenoids. He has sleep apnea, and it worsens when he gets a cold.

After consulting with this forum, we ordered and received Agraphis Nutans 30C. It is in the form of small pills. The directions on the jar say: 'Dissolve 4 under the tongue 3 times a day'.

Does this dosage apply to children as well?

How long is it safe to continue taking the homeopathy? When should we look for positive changes?

Thank you in advance!!

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Dear roni,
You can continue it until it gives you some positive result or symptoms gets subside. This is a safe remedy for children. You should observe your child carefuly and notice her condition.
Goodluck

Give him the medicine for 1 day only(3 doses) and then observe for the next 4 days.

Repeating the medicine is not going to help. You are just giving an impulse to the immune system and it's the reaction of the immune system to that impulse which will cure.

Do not spoil that reaction with undue repetition. 3 doses are enough to evoke a reaction if the medicine is correct.

Roni,
I consulted this forum in Dec. with the same problem with my 5 yr. old. I gave him one dose of bacillinum 200 then the following night I began agraphis nut 30c. The first 3-4 days showed a small change so I continued one dose a night for another week. Amazing results! I only notice very mild apnea when he has a cold.I'm very thankful for the help I received on this forum. Good Luck!

Thank you for your replies, but please tell me if the 4 pills per dose is the right dosage for a 4-year-old?

That is the dose that I gave my son.

Hi Sameer

Certain 'Organ' medicines need repetetion as a maintainance dose for better management.

From experience I find that the medicines are best taken in water, and mixing them wit a spoon for progressively more time is suuficient to rise the potency slightly between each dose.

Say, you dissolve 4 pellets in about 20 ml. of water the first time and mix about 5 times first time with a spoon.

When you give it next time mix for 10 times. The process continues with the time of mixing increased progressively.. 15 times...20 times etc.

I find vigorous mixing is as good as succussing, and is more convnient and easily understood by the patients.

We are adding kinetic energy in both the cases, and the effect is same. More over, it is better than a split dose in the sense that patients do feel that they are taking a fresh dose every time.

Though split dose of 5 th edition works equally better, mixing of two pellets in about 400 ml. of water, and asking them to take a spoonful daily from it, attracts skepticism, and I find that first time users simply won't understand that it too will work.

So, for non sensitive people I normally advise as above, with the usual rider to stop taking the medicine once appreciable relief is felt.

Agraphis needs to be taken daily atleast for a week in cases like these.

Hi Murthy,

I agree with you that the split dose attracts a lot of scepticism and if we add a dilution glass to the picture , patients tend to think , 'how can such less amounts cure ?'

However, personally I think, the effect of 3-4 doses of one potency is same or better than 10 or 20 doses of the same. For non-sensitive people there is always the option of raising the potency to 200C.

I find it hard to understand how 'certain remedies' can be treated differently in terms of repetition. After all, all are energy medicines working on the same principle of cure through the secondary action of the vital force.

Sameer.

Hi, my son (almost 9, about 65 lbs) has snored since he was born, and has always had problems breathing through his nose. I was told he probably has enlarged adenoids (his tonsils are very large).

I recently purchased Agraphis nutans 30C and have given it to him two nights in a row (1 tiny pill). Last night he slept better (mouth almost closed), but tonight, his mouth is gapped as big as usual.

Any recommendations? Am I giving him enough of a dose?

Thanks ...

Agraphis Nutans works best in mother tincture form.

Someone please help me! My daughter is 3 1/2 years old and and she has enlarged adenoids and tonsils. Because of this, she has sleep apnea. She BARELY gets any rest at night for the past 15 days. She has had this for about 2 years but it only affected her maybe once a night or so. Now she struggles at night. All doctors can talk about is surgery. I've been reading the forums about calc phos and agrap nut. My daughter is 34 lbs, very active, playful, loves to play with other children 😊 loves to swim and play outdoors, her appetite is okay but used to be better. She's so tired during the day for the past 2 weeks. She's starting to get delirious at times because she's so exhausted. Please help us!!!

Dear Josiekatt,

First you need your own thread.

Please go to the front page of the forum. Look above the first post.

See the button, Post New Topic. Click on that and you will create your
treatment thread.

I suggest that when you do this, ask for Kadwa in your headline.
Kadwa is a physician. He is very good with tonsils, adenoids and apnea. Write
the same thing you have written here.

After you make this thread, then do not post again until he answers you.
He looks for the unanswered white boxes that mean a thread is open.

Kadwa is on the forum every 3 days or so, you may have to wait but
he will find your thread.
