Goitre - Please help

Hi Doctors,

I am 33 years old married woman. I have goitre from the age of 18 years. I will try to describe my sympotoms:

1. Goitre, amlost the size of a fist, a bit hard but not very hard but elastic. Does not pain at all.

2. Over weight (75 kg) - problem in loosing weight.

3. Lethargic - Does have much energy.

4. Abdomen large with fats.

5. Constant falling of hair.

6. Eyes pushed inwards and eye side weak.

7. Severe heahache sometimes with vomiting - repeated after 2-3 weeks.

8. Menses profuse, distrurbed with pain not severe pain though.

9. Pain in knee joints and somtimes all the joints, increased in winter.

10. Muscles weak, cramps

11. Disposition to weap easily.

12. Weak memory.

13. Getting angry eaisly and feeling of weakness after getting angry.

14. Weak mentally and physically.

15. Pulse irregular/weak.

16. Tonsils a bit enlarged, sometimes painful.

17. weak bladder - urine is expelled while coughing.

I have talked to one of the local homeopaths. He thinks I am suffering from Hyphothyroidim and adviced Calc Carb 200 one dose daily for 2 months. There has been some improvement after that like menses start to occour regularly and not that profuse, not feeling any pian in joints but severe headache is still there. Size of the goitre is not reduced at all.

Now he has adviced Lapis Albus 30 daily for 2 months and report after that. Should I continue with Calc Carb 200 or switch to Lapis Albus 30. I am not sure what to do. Please help.

I looked in the KENT Materia Medica about Calcera Iodata and found that persons needing this remedy have marked loss of flesh but I am overwieght. Also extreme thirst was one of the symptoms while my thirst is normal.

Do you still think this is the correct remedy for me.
