Creating homeopathy globules from liquids (Dr Murthy or others)

Hello, as I have described in other threads, I have bought 30c and 200c liquids for homeopathy. I have also bought sugar globules separately, and empty 1 dram bottles. I searched past threads and saw a video on how to prepare the sugar globules.

As I understand it:
1. Fill sugar globules in the 1 dram bottle
2. Pour 6-8 drops of the required potency into the 1 dram bottle
3. shake the bottle and strike it against a semi-hard surface (like a leather pad). Repeat this 10 times.

Am I correct ?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Correct you are.

Yes. You can perhaps reduce the liquid drops to 4 to 6. Too much liquid is likely to spoil the pellets.

If there is still some liquid left in the vial even after a day, the best thing to do is to dry the pellets in the following way.

Remove the cap of the vial. Hold a clean paper on the mouth of the vial. Holding the sides of the paper firmly against the vial's mouth turn it upside down. The excess liquid will drain out. Recap the bottle and store it.

The globules dried out this way will last forever.

To know the importance of drying read this from one of the manufacturers.

This is from Organon itself.

§ 270 Sixth Edition

In order to best obtain this development of power, a small part of the substance to be dynamized, say one grain, is triturated for three hours with three times one hundred grains sugar of milk according to the method described below 1 up to the one-millionth part in powder form. For reasons given below (b) one grain of this powder is dissolved in 500 drops of a mixture of one part of alcohol and four parts of distilled water, of which one drop is put in a vial. To this are added 100 drops of pure alcohol 2 and given one hundred strong succussions with the hand against a hard but elastic body.3 This is the medicine in the first degree of dynamization with which small sugar globules 4 may then be moistened 5 and

quickly spread on blotting paper to dry and kept in a well-corked vial

with the sign of (I) degree of potency. Only one 6 globule of this is taken for further dynamization, put in a second new vial (with a drop a water in order to dissolve it) and then with 100 powerful succussions.

With this alcoholic medicinal fluid globules are again moistened,

spread upon blotting paper and dried quickly, put into a well-stoppered vial

and protected from heat and sun light and given the sign (II) of the second potency. And in this way the process is continued until the twenty-ninth is reached. Then with 100 drops of alcohol by means of 100 succussions, an alcoholic medicinal fluid is formed with which the thirtieth dynamization degree is given to properly moistened and dried sugar globules.

*************

See that Hahn. himself advices to dry the pellets thoroughly before storing.

I am highligting this point because it is a common practice in India to pour more drops than required to moisten the sugar globules. If the alcohol contains even traces of water, the pellets become soggy on storage in a few days/months depending on the amount of water present.

I have to throw away more than 100 vials due to this problem before I started the drying process. Now I invariably use the drying method and my medicines remain fresh and potent forever.

Ok thank you, however your last post confused me, where you quote from the Organon.

a) As I understand it, I have already bought the required potencies in liquid form. To make globules, I just do what I described in my first post - no further dilution, alcohol mixing, water mixing etc, is required, right ?

b) Is there any particular kind of paper I need to use to dry? blotting paper maybe ?

thank you

Yes. A clean blotting paper will do. Wait for about 5 minutes after putting the drops in the vial containing the pellets so as the pellets are soaked thoroughly. Rolling the vial will make the pellets uniformly moistened.

Remove the cap and simply reverse the vial onto the blotting paper. The excess alcohol will drain out. See that the pellets don't fall down while reversing.

Recork the bottle and your pellets will remain fresh and potent forever.

Though spreading the globules on the blotting paper is suggested in Organon after they are moistened to dry them out,it is not strictly necessary.

Reversing the vial to drain out the liquid is good enough.

Murthy Sir,

Is there any problem in having those medicines directly in the liquid form? that is without the pellets? Somebody told me this is more effective. Could you please guide me on this?

If you are not too sensitive (don't get easily affected by weather changes, can eat any type of food without allergies, somewhat normal disposition) you can use the liquid directly.

The sensitive people need to adjust the 'quantity' of dose. The pellets are more useful for them as really only a minute quantity of medicine enters the system. For highly sensitive people the 'quantity' can further be reduced by dissolving a pellet in a glass of water and taking a sip out of it.

If you are 'insensitive' like me you can even try taking a drop on the tongue stright from the bottle. :-)

Pellets are convenient to carry as they can be packed in food grade plastic containers and can be shipped long distances. Liquid potencies need glass vials and there is danger of breakage in transit/handling.

Moreover the thoroughly dried pellets don't smell like alcohol which is important for some people.

With liquids there is the danger of taking too many drops inadvertantly. With pellets that risk is minimal.

These are some of the pros and cons of pellets vs liquids.

Murthy Sir,

Thanks for the quick reply. How do you suggest that the medicines in liquid form should be taken that is how many drops per dose etc? Is it better if I add them in water or take them directly? I also heard that the 'liquid medicine' should be taken only once in a day. Is this true? Kindly help me out on this.
Also if you don't mind I would like to submit to you a hair loss problem I've been suffering for some time now through your email. Kindly help

A single drop in about 30 ml. of water mixed thoroughly is the best way.

Use paper/plastic cups and plastic spoons which can be thrown away. Don't use that spoon for anything else.

You need to throw away the spoon and use a new one when you either change the medicine or potency.

Hair loss has many causes including heridetary/ miasmatic influences, past medical history etc. I don't deal with such cases on forums/through internet.

For most chronic problems once in a day is enough. If you intend to take the medicine daily, increase the number of stirrings progressively. If you stir for 5 times the first day, do it 10 times the next day, 15 times the third day and so on.

Dr. Murthy, will you please confirm pellet (globule) size and dram size that should be used with 4-6 drops of 200C single remedy? Also, when taking the remedy, how many pellets should be taken in one dose, 3?

Thanks so much for posting all of the valuable info. on mixing and drying pellets!
