acne spots..
I am aware of so many threads that discuss treatment of acne and acne spots, but I thought I would discuss my symptoms here to get the right suggestions. I have been battling with pimples for a almost 2-3 years, I am 29 years old and have oily skin type. After the pimples wear out, they leave a brown spot. These spots are all over my cheeks now. Also lately my skin has become darker. Please suggest what would work for me. Will Silicea help cure these brown spots?Thanks in advance...

History of present illness: Intermittent breakouts.
Last severe breakout was about 6 months ago, I consulted a allopath.
He put me on antibiotics and several creams such as benzoyl peroxide and face washes.
Eventually it took about 2 and half months to subside, but left lot of brown spots.
I also have some old brown spots from my previous breakouts of about 2-3 years ago.
The skin has become brownish in general around my cheeks.
