can you please tell me why you feel that is the case ?

What are the symptoms of Phosphorus that you found to be matching ?

Thank you for asking this question. I was gonna ask your confirmation but then I think it would consume so much of your time that wouldn't be fair to ask such question from you.

I cut and paste all the symptoms that match.
Please let me know if this is not the right remedy.

Once he turns his attention to another project he may forget all about this stranger he befriended, thus he may appear 'flighty'.

Especially, these fears come when the patient is alone, and are better in company. This is so true with me.

In later stages the patient is so sensitive to others and to outside stimulation that the well-known desire for company is lost. The patient prefers to be alone and is intolerant of strangers or of hearing of other's problems. As more and more of the inner vitality is lost, so also is lost the 'bubbly' and sparkling nature. Eventually the patient becomes slow and indifferent and apathetic.

Mind.
OPEN, BRIGHT, EXCITABLE, ANXIOUS PATIENTS. (I am very creative, without so much ego)
Fears: > THUNDERSTORMS. SOMETHING BAD WILL HAPPEN. Diseases. Future. For others. Ghosts. Water. Earthquakes. Any fear.
SYMPATHETIC.

Startles easily.
Mentally distractible and 'spacey'.
Slow, apathetic, dull-minded state (late stage).
Unable to exert the mind.
Answers slowly.

General.
Appearance: thin and often tall, fine featured
Generally chilly or even freezing but may be very warm-blooded. (But while the general temperature is variable, the reaction to temperature in certain organ systems is quite fixed: head and stomach symptoms are better by cold and worse heat or hot applications; chest symptoms are worse from cold and better from heat.)
General aggravation from changes in the weather.

Great sensitivity to odors. Chemical sensitivity.
Tumor formation. Fibrous and fibrocystic growths. Malignancy. (I have giant fibroadenoma in my right breast and small one in my left. They have been there for so many years)

Head.
Vertigo, worse exerting the vision, especially looking upward, worse rising, better lying.
Pyorrhea, easily bleeding gums, periosteal inflammation from root canal procedure.
Smell very acute, worse headache. Intolerant of perfumes.

Throat.

Gastro-intestinal.
, even gets up at night to eat.
, during fever; returns soon after eating.
Craves: CHOCOLATE. ICE CREAM OR COLD FOODS. SALTY. RICE. MILK. ALCOHOLIC DRINKS, ESPECIALLY WINE. Hamburger. Eggs. Chicken. Cheese. Carbonated drinks. Sweets.
Aversion: .
TREMENDOUS THIRST FOR COLD DRINKS.

Urinary and Sexual Organs.
Involuntary urination with cough.
and tumors, especially left-sided. (I have a cyst on left ovary)

Chest.

Extremities.
Back pains, better motion, better heat, better massage.

Skin.
Dry skin.
Itching worse heat and at night.

Sleep.

Talking in the sleep.
Unrefreshed sleep in later stages.

Okay then, I think Phosphorus is the correct choice.

Please take 3 doses of Phosphorus 30c eqally spaced on a single day. The dosage procedure is below

Dissolve 2 pellets of Phosphorus 30c in 250 ml plain spring water (if you leave them in the spring water bottle they will dissolve, and then u can shake gently for them to spread evenly), and a capful from this bottle is 1 dose.

Some restrictions:
1/. Nothing should enter the mouth for 40 minutes prior to, or after taking the remedy.
2/. Do not touch the tablets with your hands, tip them into the cap of the container they came in and then into the water .
3/. Avoid coffee, tea (including green), and other sources of caffeine such as some fizzy drinks and large amounts of chocolate, except where this would cause a drastic change in consumption
4/. Avoid wearing perfume/aftershave, or exposure to anything with a strong smell while under treatment. This includes any and all essential oils, and incense.
5/. Avoid the consumption of excessively spicey foods
6/. The use of medicinal herbs, either as 'teas' or supplements should be avoided during Homoeopathic treatment, as should the use of over the counter medication, unless this has been recommended by an MD.
7/. Nothing of a medicinal nature should be applied to the skin

Let me know in 5 days after this.

Dear Sameer,
This is the report for my son:
it has been a week since I gave him calc-c 6c. he still strains a lot (to the extend that his face turns really red) without anything expelled. He has to do this several times so he would be able to poop. most of the time he gives up. the stool is not as hard as it was before. I am giving him fruits and vegs everyday. sometimes he poop just a little bit 2-3 times per day. a little bit meaning size of a blueberry. I really don't understand why he should have this problem. Can you please let me know what should I do? one more thing, his skin erruptions are much more better. sometimes he gets them around his mouth and he still has a little bit of those on his torso but defnitely better. and very recently when he wakes up at night for feeding he wants to come to our bed and sleeps by my side.
that is all I can think of.
Thank you so much for your helps.

Hi Sameer,
what do you think if I stop giving any remedy to him and try some prune juice or puree for a week or so?
I appreciate your professional thougths.

beth2006 last decade
Hi Beth,

Please give him a single dose of Calcarea Carb 30c , just 1 teaspoon dose.

You can carry on giving high fiber things that you are doing.

Dear Sameer,
This is the report for my son:
His bowel movement is back to regular condition, meaning everyday after eating breakfast. The stool is definitely softer. only somedays it is not very soft but I guess I can say he is not constipated anymore. Thank you soooo much for your help. Should I give him something else?

and here is the report for myself:
first thing is my skin. Wow! really better, much more better. the acnes are almost gone and it has a healthy glow. I feel happy inside and relaxed. better mental condition, meaning better focusing and better memory. less thinking of death. the only thing is that my last mense (was after taking remedy) was not an easy one. I had headache on the first day and kind of sad/ready to cry. also the blood used to be ligth but this time it was dark. Please let me know if I should take any remedy.

as always thank you for your time.

Good news :)

I am happy for you and your son.

Do not take any remedies and nothing for your son either.

Update me in 1 week.

Dear Sameer,
It has been a while that my son is showing following behaviors. I was hoping it goes away as time goes by but unfortunately it is still there.
Before describing the problem I have to mention that he sleeps in our bedroom in his crib and it has been like this since his birth. He is 13 months old now. For so many months till about 10 months we had to rock him to get him to sleep. The after that he himself decided to go to sleep without rocking. But instead he would go to sleep while I hug him. It doesn’t matter where but I should hug him. So every night he sleeps in our bed, me by his side and he sometimes use my belly as his pillow and he needs lots of snuggling. After he goes to sleep I put him in his bed. I don’t have problem with any of above mentioned. But then since about a month ago he started this habit that he wakes in the middle of the night and he wants to sleep in our bed. I used to do that but then I realized it is getting more frequent. So since about 10 days ago I just pick him up and rock him to sleep whenever he demands for transferring to our bed. Of course he goes back to sleep in a few minutes but then after 2-3 hours he may get up and want to sleep in our bed again. It doesn’t have a pattern in term of time. sometimes he sleeps in his bed until 5 in the morning and then he wants to come out of his crib and sometimes it happens 3 times during the night. But most of the time it would be early in the morning. For finding the correct remedy there are a few other things regarding his sleep. When he wants to go to sleep he tosses and turns a lot. He also rubs his hands on sheet. Like he puts his hands under pillow or under my arm and rub it. Eventhough he is very tired and sleepy every night he wouldn’t go to sleep sooner than 30 minutes. I mean it takes almost 30 minutes for him to go to complete sleep. Interestingly, when he wakes up for his feeding he rarely wants to come to our bed after feeding. I am not saying never but rarely. Sometimes he moans but that happens only early in the morning, around 5 am. Could you please kindly advise me what to do?
Thank you so much,
Beth

Dear Beth,

Are there any other troublesome symptoms apart from this 'waking up frequently' ?

Sameer

sameervermani last decade
sometimes I can hear his breathing while he sleeps. you know it is kind of rapid breathing like when you are excited or scared and then he wakes up a few minutes after. I guess he sometimes has bad dreams. sometimes when I am rocking him to sleep he would jump badly. and naturally when he doesn't sleep well, he is not very good tempered the next morning.
by the way his bowel movement is very good. A VERY BIG thank you to you;)

Dear Beth,

I would still recommend waiting longer as Calcarea is a very deep acting medicine, and his waking up might subside on its own through the Calcarea response.

You're most welcome, it sometimes gets very distracting and sad on this forum when people start maligning prescribers.

But, it is for this pleasure of treating people like you and your son, that I am here.
So, I guess I will have to accept the thorns with the flowers :)

Ok, I will wait a few more days and will report back.

Well, you let us bask in your radiance and sunshine, so I really didn't need to wander around this forum. It has been a great opportunity for me to know you. I have learned a lot from you, the most important one was 'wait, wait, and wait'.

Hello Dear Sameer,
Could you please let me know what your personal opinion is regarding the following:
Do you think is it a good idea to not to pick my son up during the night when he wakes up and asks for sleeping in our bed? Would it be wise if I just let him cry and just be with him lots of touch and kiss but no pick up at all so he would learn that he should stay in his crib. He is pretty persistant so if I let him cry he would do that for maybe half an hour or even more. Should I do that? or do you think it would be better to try homeopathy?
Thank you

beth2006 last decade
I personally tend to think, you should not let him cry for half an hour if there is something which can be done to pacify him.

As I said, let us wait for some more time, if this does not correct on its own, we can think about intervening through homeopathy.

Thanks a lot. I really appreciate it.

Dear Sameer,
I am so glad that I listened to you and didn't give him anything. He is teething;) and I guess part of the sleeping problems are because of teething.
Since yesterday he has a mild diarrhea. It is not watery but rather more like stringy and ligth-colored. The problem is everytime he wants to poop for some reason it hurts or maybe burns. He cries and points toward his back to tell me that pooping is really uncomfortable. and when I want to change him he would go crazy.
Do you recommend me to give him any remedy or maybe wait more?
Sorry I buged you a lot recently. I just can't see him in pain, that's why.
Thanks a lot for your time and your attention.

beth2006 last decade
Dear Beth,

I think you should keep waiting. It should pass by itself.

If this keeps happening regularly, you can post back, and we can think of something.

Hello Dear Sameer,
as promised here is an update regarding my son:

1. all skin eruptions are gone. just sometimes a few tiny red spots around his mouth specially on his chin.

2. no more constipation.

3. but unfortunately he still wakes up at night and wants to come to our bed. although it happens only once and rarely twice per night. also when he wakes up for feeding sometimes (not always) it takes such a long time to get him back to sleep.

thank you for your time and your attention.

regarding myself: couldn't be better. thanks a million;)

Dear Sameer,
Do you recommend any remedy for his sleeping problems?
Thanks a lot,
Beth

beth2006 last decade
Dear Beth,

Good to hear that you are doing well, and about the improvements in your son as well :)

I would think waking up once or twice is ok, and doesn't need a remedy yet, as these are very sparse symptoms to be prescribing on.

If you can let it be, that would be good, otherwise you can tell me some more symptoms, and I can then see if something else comes up.

Hi drs.

Don't know how to start a new post here, so sorry Beth for interrupting your post. But wanted to know how to know what homeopathic remedies can go after one another or not. Is there a book or site where we can find out and when do you use Flower REmedies or tissue salts.

Thanks

JK
