Help for burst pilonidal abscess!

Hi I hope you can help me. I am a 36 year ild female and I had a pilonidal abscess exactly a year ago which I had surgery to remove. The abscess unfortunately has returned. I visisted my doctors who said it wasn't ready for surgery which I wanted to avoid anyway as it didn't work last time. I read much of the forum whilst waiting for the abscess to ripen and due to similar cases as mine ordered myristica 200, silica 6c and calendula cream which arrived today. In the meantime my abscess (thankfully!) has burst (2 days ago)so the pain is much decreased. There is still an area about 6' across where the skin is pink and a little itchy and still some hardness around the wound, I am not sure if there is more to come out or if this is swelling. The area where it burst is about 1/2' across, weeping pinkish sticky fluid and quite sore. I have been taking regular hot baths to clean. When meds arrived I have taken silica this morning (skipping myristica as it has already burst) but am not sure if I should still take this first in case still some to come out.

Please advise what action you would recommend for my particular case. I would be grateful of any help you could give me, surgery does not appeal! Please also advise dosage, timing etc. If this eventually works for me is there less likelyhood of it returning than with surgery?
