Diet restrictions with Silicea ?
Hi,What foods should be avoided when taking Silicea ?
Will coffee in moderation (say, once a day) cause problems ?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
There are a lot of beliefs about diet and homeopathy in general, not just Silicea
Do not have Coffee, camphor or Toothpaste 15 min before or after.
Melt dose under tongue. Not to be taken with water like a pill.
Silicea should not be taken more than one week between doses. It is long and deep working.
Blessings, Sabra

I have never had coffee interfere. It is a big no, no, in some circles. Stick with the 15 min.
A homepathic remedy is taken under the tongue, dry or liquid. From the saliva glands to the brain is how it works.
So, the mouth must be clean of that which are strong of nature before the dose.
I once had a friend politely refuse to use homeopathy for a couple of years. I finally cornered her and demanded why. (You can do this with a friend.) She said she was told that smokers could not use homeopathy. Needless to say she is living a more healthy life now, free of her allergies and flu each year.
One needs to use caution, but not be so strict that one cannot at least "try" something to see how it works. (coffee)

I don't think that:
From the saliva glands to the brain is how it works.
But that's beyond the point.
If you always drank that cup of coffee you just can keep doing it (I think). Read thread "coffee does not antidote in all cases".Since how homeopathy works is not understood everything aromatic and spicy scares but most "antidotes" are not validated.
Common sense + moderation and you'll be ok.
